Instagram Scheduling coming to Facebook's Creator Studio

According to Social Media Today's article, Facebook will be introducing a new feature to Creator Studio that allows you to schedule your Instagram Posts.

It was only just last year that Facebook has provided third party providers like Hootsuite & Later the ability to use Instagram Scheduling. So, it's great news for social media marketers that it's going to be available completely for free on Facebook's Creator Studio.

Based on Later's blog post on their experience with this new feature, the dashboard still only has basic functionality but it get's the job done. It's lacking some features like advanced analytics, comment management, posting across multiple platforms and more.

Will you be making the switch to Creator Studio? Or will you still be using one of the other third party Social Media Management platforms?

This is curious in a way Will because IG seems better served making people do things manually, for natural growth and engagement. I let go the platform because it attracted too much spam for me, and not enough genuine folks. Interesting to see how scheduling shakes out.

A lot of content creators and brands already uses scheduling with third party platforms. I'd say the posting behavior varies a lot depending on if you're a influencer, celebrity or brand.

This is a piece of good news. Since scheduling post feature saves a lot of time of people who have to manage a number of their social accounts, and have to update them regularly.

This would be the best solution to schedule a post from a trusted website. No doubt, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc, have good features but this will increase engagement of customers on Social Media.

  • The feature is live for me. I used it, the basic feature is good enough but still I feel stories should also be available for posting and scheduling through Creator Studio. The faster and more proactively we make content and distribute it throughout the week, the more engagement brands like us can generate.

It's decent, but it still has some room for improvement in different areas.
