Social Media Marketing Techniques

I am looking for people to give me some social media marketing techniques they have tried that work.

I can get a couple of hundred unique views a day from social media sites if I share to all of my connections.

I get Twitter followers from Twiends, Facebook page likes from You Like Hits, I join groups in Linked In, I have followers on Stumble Upon, and I have followers on Google Plus.

I am gradually adding to my social media marketing list of friends and followers, but I am hoping I can get some suggestions as to how to increase my list of social connections faster, or a better way to get traffic from social media.

Can you please share your favorite social media marketing techniques?

    Not totally sure what you mean other than the obvious which is being social. Posting frequent content that looks like free advice is sure to get your links passed around and more views on your site. Recently I got some publicity on CNN Money and that has led to a bunch of sign ups on my site. So getting any news outlet to post an article about you or your press release is also a good way to get more followers, likes and visitors.

    I'll have to try that. I've been thinking about buying some software like Tweet Attacks, cause it claims to work well, but I also heard someone say that they got their Twitter account banned. I've been investigating ways of ranking Facebook pages on Google, and You Tube videos as well, by getting likes and views. I want to either quickly build a large social network of friends and followers, or get my social pages a lot of traffic.

    You could definitely SEO your pages just like you would any webpage. YouTube videos can especially take a lot of "abuse" in terms of aggressive backlinking. I have a fan page ranking at #11 and I am just very casually updating it maybe every other week over the past 6 or 7 weeks or so. I threw some social bookmarks at it when I first set it up, but otherwise, not doing much. If I were more aggressive with it, I'm sure I could get it to the top of page one by now.

    The trick is to post good, quality content. on 99% of my FB posts I don't try to sell anything. I just try to make connects. Trust me, eventually the sales will come!

    I think you have used the good way to get twitter followers and FB fans.If you want to grow the list faster,you may use their paid service to get a Vip member to get more followers fast.But if you want to get more target fans.I think you should start a attractive regular blog to post the fresh content.Thus,you will get more wonderful audience and followers if you put the twitter and facebook likes buton in the left bag of your blog.It is the natural way which is different from the likes exchange method.

    The techniques your using are rubbish, people just join Twitter etc with new spam account to join twiends, your not getting anyone of value from those sites.

      Ok, so I get around thirty unique views a day to my site from Google, and up to three hundred unique views a day to my site from social media "spam" as you call it.

      Should I use the traffic I'm getting from the spam to get me some quality followers? I can't, because those people are already following me, that's why they're clicking on my links.

      I'd like to hear a real suggestion that can help, but don't discount my techniques, because they do work quite well, and have brought me dozens of customers, and if you can't compete on Google like me, then this is the next best option as far as I can tell.

    I do it with tweet attacks, and get 300 uniques a day, since real people following back that are in your niche are people who actually buy.

    Get tweet attack, if your looking for business owners, then follow people following chambers of commerce etc, and do it every day.

    I've been thinking of buying Tweet Attacks for some time now, and I guess I will. Just have to save up the hundred and fifty dollars. I've heard good things about it, and I guess I can use that to get other people followers instead of or as well as the way I've been doing it.

    Here are the approximate figures for how much traffic I can get in ten minutes by sharing a page with my social friends and followers:

    Twitter: 10 to 100 unique views

    Linked In groups: 10 to 200 unique views

    Stumble Upon: 30 to 30,000 unique views (depending on what it is)

    Facebook: 10 to 20 unique views

    Google Plus: I haven't really checked yet.

    I have a Fiverr gig where I will share your site with my Facebook, Twitter, Stumble Upon and Google Plus followers if you're interested, or a more extensive social sharing service on my site.

    I can also use micro job sites to get other people to share your site with their friends and followers cheaply.

    I am not sure I understand exactly what you are asking...are you looking for some ways to get more genuine Facebook Likes? In terms of social media, Facebook is one of my favorite outlets, and instead of buying Facebook likes there is a tool you can use, which is free, to help you improve your numbers.
