How to use social media to promote wordpress site?

Hi, you have many plugins that you can add to your wordpress website. If you just search for "Wordpress Social Plugins" or "Wordpress Facebook Button Plugin" in google, you will get several plugins.

You could also get into the Add plugins page on your Wordpress Dashboard and search Facebook and you will get a list of plugins in that you can use to add these buttons.

You can add the plugins said above and link every post on the social sites when you write them.

Also you could create a fanpage and advertise it with facebook advertise tools

Make a fanpage, post regularly to it.

Make something go viral - easier said than done, but if you can do it, you will get a whole bunch of traffic.

You can use Facebook ads, a little tricky to get right as PPC is very risky. But everything is a risk.

Link every article/post on your site, to your social-media advertising method.

Create pages for your site on each social network. Then, post links to each of your posts (with a couple sentences describing the content of your posts) to each social network.

For Facebook, you can use the Facebook advertising tools to get fans.

For twitter, use services such as justretweet and triberr to gain exposure. Also, experiment with hash tags in your tweets.

In my humble opion, this what i'm to do:
1. Install Jetpack Plugin. After that click manage and you will see "Sharing" Configure.
2. Use TwitterFeed.com to tweet and share your new articles. You can setting it per post or per 5 post, etc.
3. The important is optimization your site

Create Google+ Business page and Facebook page, post reliable content on that page. Social media is great tool for your branding. You can also join group in linkedin with same niche as you are.

You could add numerous numbers of plugins. Use share hits on this sites and use lots of kind and humble words to tell them to like or click and check them out. I hope that helped you in a way or so.

Try the Social plugin made by Mailchimp. Here's why:

1) Allows people to comment on posts via Facebook, Twitter, etc.

2) Allows you to automatically (at the push of a button) put new posts on all of your connected social accounts

Also be sure to add a plugin that allows you to add social buttons. Not sure if the Mailchimp plugin does it. There are plugins similar to this Mailchimp one by the way, but I can't remember the names.

I have several blog curation websites and here's what I do:

1. I make 4 or 5 curated posts per day highlighting one keyword from a list of keywords I generated for the niche
2. I use the Yoast SEO plugin to maximize the SEO on each Post.
3. I make sure I include an original photo for every post (I use my own tool for creating quick, original graphics), so it can be "pinned" on Pinterest
4. I have a social media plugin (Sharing is Caring) and I set it up so that sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest is enabled at the bottom of every post, there is a drop-down option to share on other social media sites as well, the top 4 are the only ones visible.
5. Once the Post is live, I go to the post and hit on the social media icons and send the post to each of my social media accounts.

Repeat daily.

I use "share this plugin" on my blog, and on the other site I use facebook, pinterest and stumbleupon to drive traffic to my site.

Remember to allow people to like your facebook page at the sidebar of your blog. So whoever reach your blog via pinterest and stumbleupon might become a fans on your facebook page. Do this so you can build in both ways.

I use Pinterest to drive traffic to my niche Wordpress site using repin.me. I simply "pin" a product photo from my niche site and link it back to my site or affiliate account for that item. Pinterest is predominately female, so if you can offers something particularly for a female audience this tactic works with great success!

I'm not "super active" on Pinterest, but whenever I post something I average about 20 "repins", a number of "likes" and a few new "followers". Analytics backs up the data. I get traffic every time I "pin" something! Definitely recommend giving it a try. Super easy to do. Just make sure that you give a little love back to those "repining" your items. Doesn't take long just to like something on their board or give them a "follow".

With facebook and twitter the best thing to do is to link them, so you only need to update one at a time. In addition to that I would recommend getting an account with digg, pinterest and tumblr and posting the same link in each so you are fully utilizing all of these social networks.

It takes a while to see the roi with social media but it's necessary. Don't buy all the hyped-up wp plugins -- just syndicate using hootsuite or something similar. Many plugins have incompatibilities and some don't deliver as promised.
