How to Get Your Facebook App to Work with Shared SSL
I had a hard time with this at first and frankly, since I was only testing Facebook Ads I didn't wanna dish out the money for the Dedicated SSL hosting.
So if you're with hostgator this is what you need to do:
1. log into your cpanel
2. Find your username, this is what you login with
3. Find your servername:
This is usually at the bottom left widget of the cpanel.
mine for example is gator414
4. use the link:
https://secure###.name.com/~cpaneluser/
in my case it would be
https://secure414.hostgator.com/~damasgate/
notice how I replaced "gator" with "secure" for the servername
5. at this point you're all set all you need to do now is point at your specific directory.
For example:
https://secure414.hostgator.com/~dam...-page-you-want to use.
