I would recommend that you use a site like 99designs.com or another crowdsourcing site (I forget the name of the other), for coming up with a mascot... simply because you get submissions from ALL of the top designers on the site (dependent on your budget)... and you get to see all the options out there.

Much better then made-to-order for a mascot... that's just my view though.

Kinda funny your name's caleb and mine is cale lol

but anyways "cough" "cough" "cale is a better name" "cough"

I check out 99designs "not impressed"

Also checked out crowdsourcing and got 2 sites..

      1. crowdsourcing.com "no idea some business site"
      2. crowdsourcing.org "looked like some type of video sharing site"

But anyways i was looking for ideas on a type of animal i guess i should have said

"because all mascots are animals right?"

      so the name is SocialSwager..

      Whats the mascot?

      Bird? no that's twitter..

A penguin? A beaver? who knows you tell me...

What exactly is the name of the site?

I see you said SocialSwager but is that Social Swager?

The word Swagger has two r's in it and that's why I am confused as to the name of your site.

At the moment your name is confusing because I thought the two words were social and wager with an 's' in the middle since swagger is not spelt correctly.

Anyhow, Swagger generally means confidence and original.

So you could have some type of rich jerk type character. Someone who looks a bit cocky and 'know it all'.

The site name is Social Swager

If you look up "Social - Wikipedia"

You get "The term social refers to a characteristic of living organisms as applied to populations of humans and other animals. It always refers to the interaction of organisms with other organisms and to their collective co-existence, irrespective of whether they are aware of it or not, and irrespective of whether the interaction is voluntary or involuntary."

If you look up " swager"

"Someone who is original with ideas and styles. Someone who is confident. "

so i don't know were you got your research done at...

I don't need to do my research. I know that the word 'swagger' is spelt with two g's. Basic Year 12 English is enough for me to know that.

I think you need to rethink the spelling of your business name. At the moment it does not spell an actual word. Where did you do YOUR research?! You are taking spellings from the urban dictionary?! Well, there's your problem...

You may actually want to reconsider your brand name altogether since the domain you actually need is for sale at nearly $2,000.

D'oh. Should have done the spell check before you started buying domains.

    Damn urban dictionary

Why, because the name of your site isn't even a real world?

I'm not sure what else you want us to say.

The word 'Swager' is not a word. There's not much else I can say about the topic.

Socialswagger.com is already owned by someone else so you would be silly to try and build up any brand name around socialswager.com because all you would end up doing is sending the other site a whole heap of your traffic... because that is how swagger is really spelt and that is what people would type in if they ever heard your name. NOT the incorrect spelling you are trying to use.

Branding 101. You need to choose a new name.

P.S. Getting an answer you did not want to hear does not mean people are not trying to help you. It just means you are getting an answer you did not want to hear.
