Using Fiverr to get Twitter followers?

been checking out fiverr gig providers stating ads like "I will add 3200+ Twitter followers to your account to increase your follow count without the need of your password for $5" has anyone used these and got real twitter followers not just bot generated ones? thanks in advance for recommending any names/gigs!

I have never personally had any experience with these types of gigs. I would imagine that some of the followers may be bot generated, as I can't quite wrap my head around how it would be possible to generate that many real twitter followers in that short of time. But I'm curious to see what others might have to say about it.

I agree Pumpinpatch about how one can accumulate so many real followers...and that they can farm out as well, I saw ads for posting to their 800,000 follower list also which sounded fishy too. only $5 to check it out but hey that's a happy meal here! thanks for your reply btw.

Most are bots. If you're only going for a numbers game, it's fine. But if you're looking for people to actually interact with, build lists with, drive traffic, etc, it's pretty worthless to use the fiverr gigs (speaking from experience).

Be careful because most of the time they will disappear in a week. You'll have better luck buying followers from a reputable company and paying $50 or joining a Follow exchange network.

thanks warriors for your answers, I realize attempting to get thousands of twitter followers for only $5 thru fiverr one has to apply "if something is too good to be true, then it probably is." was hoping for specifics names or companies here that someone would share that does provide legit followers for a low price.

Piggy back off others who have a huge following meaning:

    1. Find someone who is an expert in your niche who has a ton of followers
    2. Follow them
    3. Start following their followers, majority of them will follow you back

Then just continue to use Twitter as you normally would, and continue to follow the steps I have outlined.

Thank you for that very good advise. Adding people manually since almost none of the software would add people in my niche--diet and nutrition. I am following several of the larger magazines and will delete in about a week, anyone not following me back. Using HootSuite to send automated posts.

The only question I do have and I hope that it is not in the wrong spot since this is about Twitter followers (in the wrong spot...sorry). How many followers should youhave before you include marketing messages in your Tweets.?

Majority of them are bots...it really depends on what you are trying to do here. If you are just trying to gain followers to make your account look good etc, then you could purchase those kind of gigs but just make sure to read the testimonials first! Otherwise, build your twitter followers slowly because you obviously want real followers to build real relationships.

Go with a reliable seller where your followers stick and then start manually hunting down 300-500 TARGETED followers.

This is how twitter marketing is done.

You need the big numbers to get going to look reliable and ALSO get over the 2k hump so you can get REAL people

    1. If you use fiverr and they actually get you real people they will ask for login details. If you see that you can trust them do it.
    2. Most fiverr programs offer fake profiles which will not help you at all.
    3. Buy a program to do it yourself. I own three.

    Top two are tweeternaire and
    twiping

Both are excellent, I know you can get tweeternaire from here cause I did.

      Ive paid for one gig...

Got 20K followers in about 5 mins.

They were all fake, and most have been deleted over the last month.

But the guy who supplied the gig had tons of positive feedback...
So I assume that the people who paid him actually wanted fake followers

In simple words.. it is a waste of time and money.. Most of the services that are offered are mostly cheap and not genuine. Most of the services offered there are carried out by using automation. It can rise the figures of your twitter account or website traffic but it won't help in increasing the business.

These followers will be probably not too much interested in the topics you tweet about. However, if you have a good reason to use such services, there are also free alternatives like SocialClerks. These websites work in a very easy way - you follow other members, for every following you earn credits and the credits can be used to "buy" followers for your Twitter account.

Actually, you can use these services not only to get Twitter followers, but also Facebook likes or followers in other supported social networks.

The last time I bought something like that from Fiverr was last year. There was no interaction at all, and within a few days, people started unfollowing me. Many of them are other bots and other marketers trying to do the exact same thing - add people. It might be different now, but I doubt it.

    • Confirmed -most of them are bots.
The only way they are useful is boosting amount of your followers to break the 2k barrier , so you can follow more people.
About 20-30 percent of people you are following will follow you back , so you can convert about 20-30% fake followers to real ones.
Just make sure that you follow people manually and do not add more than 200-300 a day.

I steer clear of things like this because bot generations only generate numbers for your total followers, not income. You're better off generating them naturally by sticking to it daily and following a process. Give a little to your followers and they're bound to give back.

    Don't buy Twitter followers.

    They're all bots.

The "everyone loves a winner" theory doesn't apply to fake Twitter followers.

Anybody who sees a page with 10,000 fake followers will instantly know they're fake.

    Why?

No legitimate activity on their accounts! No re-tweets of their posts!

Nobody likes a loser, and fake Twitter followers make you look like a loser.

You will not get real followers, they are bots. Quite a few of them openly state they are bots but some do not. They are good for 'social proof' and not much else, they won't interact with your account at all but definitely a good way to start attracting traffic naturally. People want to follow something they think is already popular as they are scared they might something useful or cool so boosting your numbers with a few thousand fake accounts isn't necessarily a bad idea.

One thing you have to look out for is that Twitter are really clamping down on fake accounts recently and almost every seller on Fiverr had the majority of their Twitter accounts closed down a few weeks back. What this meant was that anyone who had placed an order and had their followers added suddenly found them all disappearing overnight. Caused a lot of problems. At $5 you're not going to be too worried but it might look bad for your page and if you made multiple orders then you might not be too happy.

Amazingly the book Laptop millionaire prides itself on the Fiverr method and buying from Twinds and other services. I looked into them with the sees and you follow people they follow you etc.. none of them were in my niche (health and fitness weight loss)etc.

I am growing my followers slowly through following those with authority and following their followers and then unfollowing. I do one authority figure a day and then follow 200 of their followers. At the end of a day if they don't follow I unfollow them back. also use the who to follow suggestion. The only automation Im using is HootSuite to time my posts.

Got 50 new followers in the last 24 hours. Very low rejection rate.

Thanks for the heads up on buying 5err gigs. I guess that goes for things like TwittAdder too?

I did this myself just to see if it worked.

I got followers... real people. The problem was that:

    1) The person doing the gig followed me to around a thousand people

    2) These obviously weren't quality followers. Just people who had used some software to automatically follow those who followed them.

I wasn't expecting much, however spent much more than $5 worth of time unfollowing everyone who the fiverr freelancer followed on my behalf.

  • Why you want to buy Twitter followers? If you can't get them to follow then it is not worth to buy. Mostly are fake and you know how hard it is getting the real followers.

My advice: save your 5$. It is small amount but value it.

They have to be fake followers. Same with paid FB followers, paid G+ followers, paid anything followers.

    Think about it.
    * Have you ever been paid to follow someone? If someone was being paid to follow you, how interested do you think they would be in your page?
    * How would you feel if you found someone had added you as a follower to an account without telling you, and had been paid to do so? How would they get access to your account to do that?

I just don't understand where people think these paid followers come from. Come on peeps, think about it.

People saying "don't ever buy Twitter followers because they aren't real" are missing the point. Of course they aren't real, targeted, followers because that would cost more than $5. The point in buying fake followers is that it helps your naturally attract REAL people. If someone comes across your Twitter account and you have 36 followers there's a good chance they'll not follow you. Show them the same account again a week later and it was 25,000 followers they'll probably follow. Use the fake fans just to build up the numbers and bring in real fans, nothing else.

In my opinion, it really doesn't matter if the followers are bots. Having lots of followers helps you have social clout. It's a psychological thing...girls (and guys) all want to hang out with the popular guy. With that said, I advise against buying them from Fiverr anyway because Twitter catches these guys every so often and shuts the sellers down. If you purchased from that seller you are out of luck.

    Don't do it...

Low quality, bot-based followers. The first time someone looks you up using the StatusPeople fake follower check, you will be forever outed as a big phony, and you will lose all credibility. This is the case for ALL purchased followers, not just Fiverr.

I have tried it but it's not really working. Most of the followers are fake and won't do good with your business. I suggest you get someone to do it for you or you could do it yourself if you have enough time. Bots and other automated software aren't really that effective for me based on my experience. I just get someone to work in increasing followers and it was a great idea, I was able to meet my goals though it might take time but its all worth it.

Even if the follower are real, it totally depends on what you want to build a following for. If you want to build a following of 10,000+ so you can start posting sponsored tweets etc, you have to think that the twitter followers you will get from the fiverr gig won't be that responsive.

It's like building a list of email subscribers. I can add 300 subscribers to my list very easily for $5, but none will ever open my emails. Again, make sure to read Twitter's TOS and comply or they will shut you down.

It takes time, but try to build up a natural following. You can always find someone who has a massive following in your niche, but not the same, and start following their followers in order to have some of them follow you back. Be careful of this though as mass following will get your account suspended.

If you aim to follow between 50-100 targeted, relevant people each day, spread out over the day (very important!), you will build a following of people who actually read your tweets and click your links.

Fiverr sellers are selling for a reason. Believe me, with a list of 800,000 followers you can make a LOT more money from one tweet than $5. Either they are unresponsive or fake followers in the first place, or the gig has been sold so many times that it's become a spammy account.

    Hope this helps.

Just to add to that, I've used the fiverr gigs before to send out a message to loads of followers. This was to direct traffic to a squeeze page. I tracked it and out of 100,000 followers, not one of them clicked the link in the tweet.

It helps to at least show potential real followers that "hey if they have followed him, maybe his popular and it might be worth my time". Fake followers hurt more than they help, there are tools that anyone can use to check for fake followers and those who have high percentages are publicly "outed" - you lose all credibility on twitter once people see your followers are fake, thus defeating the purpose of having the higher follower count in the first place.

Thanks for the information, I have seen the gigs too but resisted the temptation to order because I didn't think they were actually people...how could they be?

Pretty much all are bots, and will be banned very quickly and they are inactive.

I do not recoomend Fiverr gig for traffic, as this is all so called real visitors are just like ppv and useless, unless you need traffic for any Flippa site.
But for backlinks like Angela Backlinks which are done manually or senuke or xrumer links. fiverr is the best outsource.

I have a Twitter account which I did not use for around 6 months. After I logged in one day, I found it had 3000 plus followers in it. What was that all about???

  • I have used this service, but there were no conversions at all. It seems buying Twitter, Youtube or Facebook Likes are only worth getting if you want an increase in numbers but not for conversions.

Not the way to go if you want real followers to interact and engage with.

If you just want to grow your fake list, just do it. But if you want to earn money from those, please dont. Sellers on Fiverr use some 3rd party websites to drive them to your page. I could say that it's maybe little "black hat"

Fake Twitter followers and Likes are a waste for the most part. Some people say that buying a couple thousand Likes or followers makes your page look more like an "authority" page. In my experience, you do much better getting legitimate followers. And you also risk getting your social network accounts banned for violating the TOS.

Honestly most of them are fake followers and not targeted. It's nice having a big following, but when you have no body interacting or retweeting your posts, it looks bad. I would buy a 1,000 at the most and then make a list of people with big followings to interact with their followers.

  • Only buy from fiverr if you are growing an account and need follower number on profile which helps to grow account faster. But the followers are fakes and has no other use. It's better to do things manually or buy programs to do that in a automated way. Hope this helps.

Most gigs from Twitter are selling Fake followers. Almost none of them are genuine as far as my experience goes.
