Have You Tried New Paid Promotion of a facebook status?

My friend an I who run a cocktail site, are testing it on our 2.5million post.. and are paying to promote my status update.... it seems to be working pretty well so far..We have had like an extra 38 people like the page.. for just $2 so far.. and have sign ups as well.

Anyone else using this.

Here it is explained.

Seems to be working for us. Need to test it more though.

Yeah brody, thx, our cocktail site was started up as a hobby and now pulls in a few $1000's a month, on autopilot so we are gunna try smaller paid stuff like this.... to get it more exposure. Cant hurt right?

Its cheap too, and not spamming people, so far the results are good. We shall see. Worth a test anyway.

In my experience, that's *usually* the best way to advertise on FB. The ad is twice as big as the normal one. You can add a picture to your status update and it will show up in the ad too.

    Looks interesting.
It seems that this feature is still slowly rolling out. I don't see this option on my Fb account yet.

I personally haven't tried it but have seen some folks I know try it and it does work, increases the amount of people who see your post which makes the engagement go up assuming you posted something worth commenting, sharing, or liking.
