Thanks for this info. What I normally do on youtube is focus on creating a problem solution video purely based on answering questions that my subscribers ask me and the questions I normally see getting asked in various forums.This gets me focused and buying traffic.

Not so long ago, I found this in the list of top 10 to 15 keyword tool in the market. It's not as broad as Google Keyword Tool but can be helpful if you're searching for YouTube-specific search strings, I believe.

the youtube keyword tool is awesome when used right. It's for people who advertise their videos inside of youtube. If you want to explode your youtube views with real people and don't mind paying for it, it is a great tool.

It's very basic and it only returns a few results with exact match search. I mean it returns either "not enough data" or 7000. That's very rare, it doesn't show keywords with low search volumes

I said, that is not very useful tool, because for all phrases that don't have a large number of searches I get a message "there is not enough data".

Video keywords was a good tool but Google has disabled it since august 15, 2013 . Google don't want people like us doing SEO and video title and tags optimization, they prefer people to pay them for traffic or keep the traffic for themselves as much as possible. In the beginning Google had plenty of useful tools, and was favoring individuals to create websites and content, now they SUCK big time, you don't get the useful insider metrics anymore, and they favore big websites, so you have to pass through thiese big authority websites ( like facebook) for your traffic to go to your site. But if you look around there still are a few "Youtube scraper" software tools that works.

Google kw tool was sick until they changed it.. Still works but not as well. Most of what comes up in the Yt kw tool says not enough data.. Oh well, better than nothing!

It's a crap research tool. Gives out false info. E.g. I know from my google analytics that I get 2000 views a month from a keyword but the youtube keyword tool says that there is only 1200.

Well either youtube analytics or the keyword tool wrong. Or both!

You know at the bottom of a Google Trends search. Just scroll all the way to the bottom you will find a great YouTube resource that will show some YouTube trends. Also using the https://www.youtube.com/keyword_tool helps out as well..

Way better to use Google Trends, type in your keyword, and then click on "YouTube Searches" under the right-most drop-down menu. This tool is awesome. Remember that it only goes on a 1-100 scale, so if the search volume for your term shows up as 100, that means it's HOT.

If you compare the keyword planner to this tool http://www.chaddo.com/index.php/yout...olalternative/ you'll see that the keyword planner does not give you actual search counts for keywords in the YOUTUBE search engine, only google.
