Have any of you ever bought a Facebook Fan Page before? I'm kind of interested in maybe buying one, though not sure where to find where people sell them? If anyone has any advise I would love to hear it, thanks.

    Chris, as we tried to advise, when we said it is against FB TOS it is also regarded as a NONONONONONO on WF As an experienced FB page admin, you should know that FB are now using an algo to actually remove *purchased* FB pages!

      How could they possibly know it was purchased? Also it apparently is not a NONONONO on here because there are tons of other threads just like mine that don't get deleted?

        Any who, regardless of why your previous thread(s) were deleted, consider going about it a different way?

        How about a title of: "Making money with Facebook Pages" and starting a thread about HOW and WHERE to go about buying them or vetting them?

        For example, you start a thread that has nothing to do with wanting to buy them from somebody around here, but you're interested in learning where people find them for sale and if people have bought them, how have they made money from them?

        OR...

        Post your outright request to solicit members to try and sell you a popular page in the following sections (paid forums):

        Wanted - Members Looking To Hire You

        Warrior Forum Classified Ads

        I don't see how you couldn't post a request in either section?

      It's actually pretty easy to tell if the likes are from bots or real people. Just have to really look at the page and the activity of the fans.

    Honestly Chris, it wouldn't be all that hard for them to figure it out. FB has all sorts of tracking method to keep up with how the site's being used, who's using it and what the site's being used for.

      Can you explain where you got that information? Facebook allows you to transfer a page to a different account. How the heck would they know if money was ever involved?

      Of course. Everyone here keeps telling me that Facebook will remove the page if you buy it. How the heck would they possibly know though? There's no algorithm or anything that would be able to tell them a page was bought instead of just transferred to a new admin.

        I happen to agree.

        Sure, there's the POSSIBILITY that the page could be lost -- but then again, those who have Facebook accounts don't even own their own accounts!

        There's possibility and then there's practice. The practice being if you found a fan page that was for sale -- and you bought -- it would be as simple as you getting the login information and then securing the page. Done.

        Probably what would happen is the page would stay and exist as it's always existed.

        While there's risk, as long as you, the buyer, realizes it's there, there's no reason why the seller can't receive funds on the back end and your take over the page on the front end.

        Have you tried looking in the WF classifieds? I'm not sure if FB pages are allowed to be sold here so you'd have to check that out.

        Have you tried posting in the "Warrior for Hire" section? Maybe create a posting there soliciting your interest in purchasing a fan page with your specifications. I think the posting will cost $5 to make (but you should check that out).

    Agreed apparently it is against TOS to buy a fanpage. Making one is simple I use www.social-candy.com (no affil link) they have a free version that works great for customization.

      Making a Fan Page is actually pretty easy. You don't really need that.

    I have very bad experience about it. There are lots of fake fans. But fortunately i able to find out a correct way to get real facebook fans. All you need to do is to work hard little bit. There are lots of sites are now available those would give you as many likes as you want. Don't worry. It's free. Kind of exchange offer. Just register with one of those and get real facebook fans.

    Just curious, why do you want to pay money on a Facebook page, when you could create one for free? It's always better to get your own fans in a natural way, than buying a page that's been "liked" by thousands of fake accounts.

      Exactly why I'm not going to buy one with tons of likes from fake accounts. Lol I'm not stupid, I have quite a few pages already.
