Facebook community pages

Sorry if this is a repeat - not sure if the forum took it or not - when the server was hickuping earlier.

Does anybody know how to post to a facebook community page so that the post appears in the main timeline rather than the "Recent posts by others" box? I am not an admin or anything there.

    only the community owner's posts will show in the top of the timelime to others... or else anybody could spam on it

      Yes I follow the logic but looking at many community groups they seem to be open to the community for posting in the way that a group is - at least judging by the volumes of users posting on the timeline - yet not so for my posts - a permissions thing perhaps?
