Can Facebook Disable account for getting too many likes?

I paid for a service that delivers a few hundred fb likes to my fan page. It works...very well. I was wondering if my page could be blocked for getting too many in a short period?

    While getting a huge number of Likes on Facebook looks amazing, it doesn't, however, deliver great success to your marketing goals. For one thing, this is another form of deception to the users on Facebook and to Facebook itself.

    Most services usually offer features that are enticing and would tell you that their service is safe, ethical, and no infractions whatsoever. But who wouldn't say things like these if you really want to make some money.

    In other words, you are simply violating FB's terms of service. Next thing you'll know is that a warning message will be delivered to your inbox.

    FaceBook doesn't suspend accounts for getting to many "likes". But they CAN suspend you if the "like-getting" service you use violates their ToS (Terms of Service).

    Getting too many likes in a short period, That will reduce your accounts credibility. You should tell your provider, delivery likes gradually. It will be more safe for your accounts.

    No, I get quite a lot of likes on one of my fan pages and have seen no mention of it or anything from facebook. I only recieve a large amount when I come up with a picture or piece which is highly viral - but I don't imagine they will and would punish you at the end of the day it is not affecting them, the bogus/fake/crappy accounts which are set up to give you the worthless/pointless like's might however get banned and disabled.

    Why would you PAY for likes anyway? Stupidest thing ever. It's just a number, if you paid for it, then there isn't anyone behind that "like", so it's useless.

    Number of likes are just deceptions for the facebook users. Facebook actually does not gets effected by likes in bulk. Your account will not be disabled, however you may have to welcome a warning message in your inbox.

    There's no way you will get your FB account closed down just by getting too many likes. If you checked around FB lately, there's too much spam going on that's not even regulated or banned by FB despite its TOS. :p
