Do you have multiple Facebook accounts?

If so, what, if anything, do you do to keep from having one or all of them deleted/banned?

Well, of course it's against FB's TOS to have multiple accounts, so I can only hypothesize on this...

I guess in order not to get deleted or banned, they'd have to not do anything spammy or gross. Perhaps have a few friends of their own, post links and share, y'know, stuff that "real" accounts would do.

If you want to have multiple accounts on FB for your business. Make sure that you use different IP addresses in internet connections.

Before login into an account, clear cookies of your browser previously and use another IP address.

Or you use a proxy service. This way cannot work perfectly.

Me too, I have 6 large accounts each with thousands of friends. I use the same IP, however just make sure that you are using different browsers for each account.

I have multiple accounts on FB. 1 personal and 2 fake accounts I use to market my affiliate products. Being that the 2 fake accounts are not really me but 2 hot chicks I posted from images I found on google images, you'd be surprised how quickly I developed hundreds of male friends with these pic. Men try to talk to me but don't even realize its another guy they're talking to! I've been building them up slowly adding about 5 friends a day so FB doesnt get wind of it. I've had them about 2 years now and I'm sure I've managed some sales from them. Go FB!

Facebook makes some temporary suspension on accounts which they detect as "fake". If you have been suspended, they have some test to give you a chance to identify yourself by answering questions and identifying your friends from the picture they are showing.

You can have multiple fb accounts as long as you didn't violate their "terms of Service". Do not post spammy content. Just like Google+, they have business page for those contents. If you want to market your product/service, make sure you also have the FB business page.

LOL! I can very well relate to this. It's what I did when I started marketing for a few sites. But right now I needed just more than 3 accounts for different clients so what I did is to hire someone to set up accounts (which of course has different IP and that's how it will help me from getting banned) but maintaining the page and posts I do it. I just make sure it looks real and posts shouldn't look spammy

      Hope this makes sense...

I did made some fake accounts also for marketing purposes. Maybe just as long as you keep some updates to it and ofcourse no spams, it could live.

Depends on how u use them... if you create an account with a fake name and immediately setup ads, FB might ask proof that you exist. That's what they did for me. I ended up losing my ad coupon code and the account

Well Thanks for letting me know that they wont let you have FB ads if you're a new user. So I guess I will use my older accounts that are more than 9 months old if I will use fb ADs.

Nope. I still keep my second and third account in active and have a complete profile so not deleted by Facebook .
Facebook usually delete those profile that is created by robot , lack activities and update for years or none complete profile .

I'm still using the other two account to help me advertise purpose.

why have fake profiles if you can open unlimited fan pages and groups!
  • Profile picture of the author Amanda786
People usually have multipe accounts because they want to have more traffic for their blogs/website or they want to generate sales.
  • Profile picture of the author bhmseoservices
I only use the one account and manage clients fan pages through the principal account.
Having multiple ones are against Facebook's policy and it does risk getting banned so I'd rather play by their rules.

I think everyone who involve in facebook marketing has multiple facebook accounts. There are many Facebook program in marketing can help you to manage multiple accounts, save proxy and cookies for each account which can protect your accounts away from roadblock and disable. for example: Facebook FriendAdder Pro

I use only 1 account for the marketing of my products.
I think 1 account is enough for marketing.

I've got one account but many FB fan pages. I'm impressed at how good FB is at stopping different worlds colliding. Especially as some of my niches are a little dubious!

How much better than G+, where I was horrified to see my boss listed as a potential contact!

Well, some people get multiple accounts on facebook. But those won't be banned if you can handle them properly abiding by facebook TOS.

Thanks to this thread but I just need to ask this question please. Is it a must to show activity on your facebook account even though you are using it for facebook ads? Please help me as I need to understand this.

Use them like any normal person would, (not spamming, or not adding loads of people you don't know)

Why? Seriously think about it, how many households have more than one person using the same computer? All signed up to facebook. Unless your creating an unreasonable number of accounts you should be fine.

Too True, handle them properly and think long term.

Facebook claim to have over one billion active users, what are the chances that over 50% of those being people using multiple accounts? I'd say very high.

Because they are have different purpose, they use Facebook not as for the marketing. No problem, if they use the same IP address.

But.... you want to have multiple accounts for marketing purpose, I suggest you use different IP addresses in internet connection for safer.

      Do you get the point?

I'm stuck here on what software I can use to perform some basic tracking. I'm using Bing PPC and Leadpages. I thought I could use the basic tracking in Bing and the simple analytics in Leadpages. I've done a small test, running a handful of targeted ads and a few landing pages, however leadpages shows I have 0% conversions. I'm not even sure if it is tracking when someone actually clicks thru my landing page or if all 3 pages I have tested suck that bad.

Hey guys I have a simple question regarding promoting my site on twitter, I want to use my twitter account exclusively for marketing purposes and barely any social activity since I don't expect to receive many messages there. My plan is to target specific hashtags within my niche and tweet once or a few times(not spamming) each day with a catchy headline & a link to my site.

I read a post today on the WF declaring that article marketing was dead. If youíve been on this forum for a while youíve seen this declaration multiple times before. The Warrior said it used to work years ago, but there is no sense in using this outdated bygone strategy today. Let me ask you Ė do people still read articles online? Of course they do and these articles are the lifeblood of some of the most popular web sites on the planet. All publish articles that have outgoing links to further information or the authorís web site. Here are some examples:
