Any Tips for Advertising on LinkedIn?

I'm looking at running a campaign on linkedin to promote company/services to corporate businesses but have never used this advertising platform before.

Are there any tips or tricks to getting the best from it you can recommend?

Create groups and invite your friend (connection )on this group. Daily update share your link etc.

LinkedIn has a funny methodology for their api. You can modify the callback to allow for an autopost in a similiar manner to a facbook app, and cross post into company or group pages.

Another advice is to keep your profile and the company employess profiles in a complete and nice look. Complete profiles increase 40% more the searches results for employees - and the employess, specially the marketing are also the brand and front door of your company. Hubspot has a nice and quick guide to help you and your peers to complete their profiles.

I personally tried LinkedIn ads and didn't have much success. What has been a goldmine for me: making connections, networking, introducing myself to my target audience, offering value upfront, mingling in groups and moving your LinkedIn "virtual handshake" offline as soon as possible!

i dont see linkedin ads working as well because these business ppl arent really on this site like they are on fb. i would stick with networking and adding connections. you'd be so much more successful.
