I'm confused about facebook ("viral")...

Ok, I have a political-based fan page.
Here's the extent of how my page goes "viral."

- People "like" my posts - so I get a(nother) like on a post (basically stops there).

- People "share" my posts - so my post appears on their wall. (basically stops there).

- People "like" my page - so I get a(nother) like (basically stops there).

Soooo... What does a visitor have to do to make [what they did] APPEAR on all the walls of every one of THEIR friends???

The things I already do on FB don't really have very much "viral-ness" to them!

I'm confused.

Please advise.

    Well if you have posts that are already being shared then that must be the content that your followers are responding too. Why don't you ramp up those type of posts to 3/day ( this isn't too many at all) and have a comment at the top saying to come and like your page for more great content like this.
    Or have a link on those posts that links to your website or a squeeze page or somewhere that ppl can get value from.
    It always take a while of you forcing the movement and growth of the page before it gets rolling and grows on it's own.

    You guys are missing my point. I'm asking what is the process for making something viral (see OP). I'm asking about the *science* of having it go viral. Not the *art* (like, what makes something go viral -- make it catchy, etc.)

    I'm asking about the procedure (on FB).

    I told you the procedure in above post:

    Post 3 times per day the type of posts that people are responding too. Add call to actions on these posts such as "share if you agree" etc...

    Then keep taking notice of what people are sharing most and what gets the most engagement and keep posting that type of content.
