Creating a YouTube Channel to Promote ClickBank Products

I currently have a YouTube channel with 70,000+ subscribers that has taken me years to build. Its main focus is technology and family vlogs. Needless to say, it's a great passion of mine that I never want to lose sight of.

While reading these forums the other night, an idea hit me: Why not make a new YouTube channel that would be used exclusively to promote ClickBank products? With my 6+ years of YouTube knowledge, I think it's something I can make happen.

Put simply, I am looking to get serious with this IM thing. I want to explore outside of my safe zone and try new things. I just need your honest opinion... Is this something that could work? Have you seen success with making sales through the use of YouTube videos and ClickBank products? I would only promote products that I can sell with confidence (primarily gaming and technology related).

In case you're wondering why I am not using my primary channel as an affiliate platform, I currently am... but only to an extent. I would like this new channel to push beyond my boundaries and build a new following organically, through basic interest.

So, thoughts?

Yes, I strongly think you can sell/covert youtube videos into sales, stick with the professional CB products that have a high relevance, create un-biased reviews and I think you will do well..

That's great to hear! Do you think using the word "affiliate" in my channel name is a good idea? I'm trying to appear transparent, which I've heard can help convert sales.

Go for it. The trick is always making a channel/videos that are actually worthwhile to viewers, and not just another BUY NOW clickbank product video. If you have 6 years of successful YouTube experience though, that will put you ahead of about 90% of people trying to make clickbank and youtube work.

Are you a Youtube partner with monetized videos? If so there is a young YouTuber I follow who has a very similar number of subscribers who claims that he doesn't really need to apply to college as he's doing "okay" on YT but is applying anyway.

Would you say 70'000 is a number you can make a living from? I have a channel with 1400 subs and am setting myself little targets YT is a fun platform, it doesn't feel like work until you get to the editting lol. Will outsource that soon.

YouTube is my largest source of income, but it's not enough to live off of just yet. I do a variety of things online (graphic design, affiliate marketing, etc.), so it's a combination of tasks.

I'm serious about making this affiliate channel work. I've decided to not use the word "affiliate" in the channel name. I already have another name in mind, which I'll unveil at some point.

Thanks for the great advice, everyone!

    Hello.

I'm also in Video Marketing - creating Different type videos with clickbank, MoreNiche, MarketHealth products. My suggestions is Do Not put "Affiliate" in your YouTube channel. They dont like mass advertising affiliate products. But send all your video viewers to your landing page/blog and monetize there.

    Good Luck
