Hi everyone -
I have a client who has recieved a damaging Yelp review, and not an honest one either. Unfortunately, it shows up right below his Google Plus listing on the Google search.

He has had to luck in getting her to remove the review . . . even though he has gone above and beyond on her behalf. He has had others post positive Yelp reviews, but those don't show . . . just the one bad one.

Can anyone of you share ideas on how to either deal with Yelp or attempt to push the Yelp review further down?

All thoughts appreciated!

Thanks!

Jay

Your client will have to get more positive yelp reviews from customers who post to yelp regularly.

Additionally, your client can take the following steps to get Yelp pushed down the search page:

Get pages of their website indexed (ex. About, Products, Services, etc.)
Set up a Facebook business page
    Set up a Twitter Account
    Set up a Superpages.com profile
    Set up a LinkedIn profile
    Set up a Manta profile
Set up a YouTube account for the business and post a video about the business on it.
    Set up an InsiderPages.com profile
    Set up Reviewopedia profile, review

All of these things should push the Yelp listing down the page, so it doesn't show up in the top spots. This may help, while your client tries to get Yelp reviews that will stick.
