Photography Website & FB Page: Increasing Likes

Hey all,

A wee question for the veterans: I run a photography website and have the usual FB portal of it where I update for what we have been doing, articles etc.

The site itself has been optimised (the Spanish version at least - not the English version - I am working on it at the mo) in terms of on-page SEO, at least to the extent of my own ability. I have gone the "nuclear football" approach if that phrase exists at all. So I am adding extensive articles, a photography tips and tricks series of articles so to speak. Yet the pick up is deathly slow.

Apart from the photography shoots/weddings etc that we advertise on FB/G+/Twitter I would also make the articles I write public, yet the pick up is minimal. Traffic is coming through alright but it's slow to get going.

I suppose is there any way to increase the number of targeted FB likes. I know of the sites like Vingler and Youlikehits for example, but to me, although great for building your FB like count, they are a bit of a waste as they would be lost on what I would regard as a target audience. I would prefer to build FB likes organically but I'll be grey by the time it starts gaining a bit of momentum.

Here is the FB page for the site: Imagen Estilo FB Page

Here is a link to articles page: Imagen Estilo Photography Articles

The articles themselves I've only been writing the last 3 months or so but in terms of quality they are as comprehensive as you can get. So content wise there shouldn't be an issue. I'll be adding more or less one a week until I run out of topics (which shouldn't happen!).

I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to get this stuff out there proper because I know a good chunk of it will be valuable to photographers of all levels.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to have a read. If there are any magic potions (I know there isn't !!) then send them on!!

Thanks

You need to join sites that share the same niche, there are quite a few of them out there. You may also want to start a Pinterest page with your portfolio so that people can see your work, cross promote your FB page and you will get targeted likes.
