How much % following you back in PINTEREST?

Yes thats low - but it is absolutly easy to create a Pinterest Account with > 2k Followers in 4 weeks... daily 30 minutes work (clicking, pinning).

First: Create minimum 15 different boards and pin about 50 - 100 GOOD pins to each board.

Then try to join shared boards and post some repins from your board from time to time..

Check the followers from such active shared boards and FOLLOW all of them!

The normal % of users which following you back is about 1/4 - 1/3!

I just showed a real case example on my forum .. where i created a 3k and PageRank 4 Pinterest board in 6 weeks.. some of my readers made > 6k accounts starting from scratch in the same time..

1. how find good pins? fro populular list? Pinterest / Home - this is that popular list?

Yeah you should be fine if you create about 15-20 boards and post about 100-150 HQ pins. Than you could be able to build a great list of followers.

No - sorry but here i am not agree!...

Pinterest dosent work like LinkedIn :-)

To get invitation to shared boards you need to have a account with some hundred Followers.. (you look trustworthy)

If you want many repins (and promote something, let's say your blogpost) USE many large shared boards and post your PIN! (yes not spammy and on topic!)

To have followers and regular repins from your boards (not your pins, whatever is there) all you need is working to have about 2k followers... This is done following about 3 - 5k ACTIVE pinners.. and they are easy to find also in shared boards (and 1/4 - 1/3 will refollow you! .. If you do this and also CREATE some OWN shared boards and invite many people - your account will grow daily with 20-50 followers! After the inital starting phase is done!

Just set up a account with 15 nice themed boards - surf pinterest and copy some nice boards (repin their pins)... Then start following others! daily! until Pinterest tells you that you reached the limit (about 300 clicks :-)...

I created such boards and it is easy to have 2k followers and access to large shared boards in 4 weeks!

Some of my students got 6k followers in some weeks!

Nobody is following YOU (as a person) on pinterest..and if they do they WILL NOT see your pins mostly (because your PIN is maybe 10 minutes in their stream!) it is all about ONE GOOD PIN (your promotion) and shared boards (there your PIN will be discovered!)..

Your account looks ok - that's what you must do:

add more PINS to your boards (just repin other nice boards!)..

Find some shared boards .. open THEIR followers and FOLLOW them!

This works because followers from shared boards ARE active (follow those which have > 200 followers!)...

i can show you one of mine accounts which i started not 2 months ago: (and i do nearly nothing anymore since 4 weeks!)..

Thanks for giving your board as an example. You have pinned beautiful pictures of guitars, travel, etc. Your design was well planned.

After seeing what you are doing . . . realized that I needed more pictures per board. Mine only had about 10 pictures.

Also, see the wisdom of repinning from group boards.

I was being really careful before about where the picture linked. Figured I would just link beautiful pictures which doesn't take as much time.

Probably will have my own group once I get my own boards going. What did you do to establish yours?

Love my boards now . . . they are beautiful. Plus I have gotten ideas for how do do pictures that are more pinnable.

  I've learned a lot about Pinterest from my partner.
  
  The average follow back ratio on Pinterest is 10%. That can be much higher if you TARGET who you follow, and you first make your account attractive enough to follow.
  
  First make sure you have a lot of specific boards and at least 1000 pins total in your account before you start following anyone.
  
  Make sure you keep your boards and topics/style consistent. Don't just repin whatever is popular or looks nice. Decide on a personal style and tastes and what is going to make your boards unique and tightly niche focused, then only pin and repin pins that fit into that style.
  
  Then when you find people to follow, look for people that have boards and pins that are similair to your own if you want them to follow you back. Why would they follow you back if your boards don't match their interest and tastes?
  
  Then you could create group boards that match those specific interests and invite the people your following who have similair boards as your group board.

You invite people to pin to your board with similar boards!..

Use Google to identify boards on topic. Unfortunately Pinterest's search function is terrible and not of use!

Example Google search: site: pinterest.com "dogs"

Visit the results - follow.. then invite them to share on your board.

How to find the best Pins in a niche:

site: pinterest.com "keyword"+ "100..10000 repins" (replace keyword with your topic and 100 with a number of your choice!)

How to find boards with many followers
site: pinterest.com -inurl:followers -inurl:following "10000..10000000 Followers" "keyword"

! remove the space after site: in your querry! site:pinterest.com

I found it's not always easy to get followers on Pinterest unless you are pinning to boards that interests someone else. I myself started out with nothing and searched for boards that I was interested in then created my own boards and started repinning with my own description added in. I now seem to get new followers even if it's only 1 - 2 per day.

You do have to pin images that people are interested in, but you also have to follow other pinners and re-pin their pins as well. When you do this, they'll check out your boards and most of them will follow you back.

I'm sorry but I have to say that your technique is dumb. I made only one profile, and it is mine, and it's a man profile of course. I follow 79 people and 1100 people is following me and I have 15 boards. All you have to do is invite people to add pins to your boards. You have tons of videos on YouTube explaining how to do that.

Pinterest drives a huge amont of traffic to your website.
Follow a number of people, have patience for 2 to 3 weeks and check how many of those has follow you back. Those who are not following you back unfollow them. Always a less number of people will follow you back.

I do understand what you're asking, but it's impossible to give you a good answer. There is no specific percentage of people that will follow you back. It all depends on what kind of content you have (images) on your boards and if the people you follow are interested in your content.

Let me try to explain it differently...

I am following 5,192 people and there are 12,197 people following me.

Of those 12,197 who are following me, a portion came from me following them first and the remainder have simply found my profile by seeing my pins and deciding to follow me.

So it's not possible to figure out a % of who followed me because I followed them first, but the fact is that with good content, you will get followers.

I am going to attempt to respond in a bit of a different way here...

For ALL of your social media, in order to get people to follow/like/comment/share your work, you need to provide AWESOME CONTENT.

No longer can you just join all the different social media and follow as many people as you can, hoping that a certain percentage will follow back...I mean, a small percentage will, but this is not what you're aiming for...

In my opinion, you should do the extra work it takes to really communicate with people. Using Pinterest as an example, when I follow someone, I make sure I go to there boards, find my favorite pin that they have, like it, and comment on it.

Most users on Pinterest will receive an email saying you commented on there stuff...when they see you commented, they will definitely take an interest, and usually will follow you back. It happens to me all the time!

it got even lower, but i have seen that users don't see your profile pic or description

They see your pins and boards if they interesting enough they will follow you
So make sure your top boards on profile are very attractive having best board cover pics

How to increase followers

Suppose u are targeting a niche of CARS

step 1.
make 10-15 pinterest accounts and add the most popular pins of cars by searching it on the search bar on pinterst. Add 50-100 such pins on each account.

step 2.
Follow every one who has repinned those pins of cars for example. that popular pin has got 1000 repins. means 1000 people are interested in that niche, follow all of them.

step 3.
Follow 2-3K such users on each account and you will have targeted 1K - 1200 followers.

Step 4. make more pinterest account. it doesn't matter if those accounts do not have any followers.

Step 5. pin a pic from your blog and repin the same pin to every account you've created
more repins = more visitors on your blog + more followers
