How can i learn to monetize Fabook pages With over 400,00 FANS?

I own several facebook pages that I created for some MOvie Stars in Africa about a couple of years ago. Some of these pages and groups have over 400,000 fans now but I am at a loss on how to monetize the pages because they are for big movie stars in Africa (Nigeria precisely). ANY IDEAS would be most appreciated. I own and manage about 5 of these sites. The stars dont really know anything or care about monetizing it (they make too much money) and they just expect me to keep the pages active

    The thing you have to realize about monetizing your fanpages, is you have to start early... whilst you're still building your fans, you drop offers once in a while to see how receptive your fans are.

    Arguably, you'll get a few who'll scream "scam" to every cpa offer you post, and you have to either hide, delete the post or ban the fan after a few times of raucous behavior.

    Now, seeing as you have African Celebrities on your fanpages, I would assume the majority of your fans are also from Africa?

    Constraints: Money and currency conversion.
    You're not likely to make much, if anything at all, if you promote Amazon offers or anything where the fan has to use their credit cards etc.

    In my opinion, I'd say look at the Africa Channel (depending on your location and Cable/Satellite subscription) and see what the channel is promoting and you could monetize off.

    Most of what's on the Africa Channel is South African, so you could perhaps promote mp3 downloads (via music.co.za or other African music site) where you pay something like 0.99cents per download.

    You could also find a supplier of T Shirts (with your celebrities on them) and try punting those.

    As for international CPA downloads (translation, jokes, bible guide - a winner here?! lotto (there're a cpa offers for the last two by the way)

    With the recent debacle in Rome over the Pontiff, you could've promoted books written by Joseph Ratzinger at the time he abdicated... you never know... someone could've bitten! (Lots of Catholics in Africa).

    In closing, become an affiliate of dating sites such as dating.ananzi.co.za (don't remember the exact url, but ananzi is South Africa's local search engine), or other exotic dating sites - Asian, South American etc... and see what's gelling.
    Dating could be a topic of discussion on your fanpages.. then you could hit your fans with an affiliate link etc.

    Thing is, you have to try a combination of all the above and see what works, but blatantly promoting anything with a price tag associated with it... may be met with some resistance... as you sound like you haven't monetized your pages at all.
