48 Hours+ And Still No FB Ad Approval

Hi Everyone!

My first post after joining.

I currently have a Facebook ad sitting in the queue "pending review" for now more than 48 hours. I've used this ad before, and it has always been approved without delay--a matter of a few hours.

I have have a couple of other marketers tell me they are in approval limbo too. Anyone here experiencing the same? Any insights as to why?

Thanks!

Lin

Never mind! I see someone else is in the same boat. I'll follow that thread.

You can basically contact Facebook, if they don't approve your ad after 72 hours. Sometimes I contact them earlier and they review it right then.

Anyways, nowdays its quite hard to get your Facebook ads approved quickly.

Sometimes it happens. Not only you, but this happens to me also. Because the FB ad system does not work well.

If your campaign didn't yet get approval, you try to create new campaign then wait to get approval from the FB. Sometimes a new campaign get approval in less than 1 hour. You can create different campaigns then wait the approval.

Thanks! Different campaign, same ad? I've not tried that strategy, and just want to be clear.

I just looked at FB Ad and business websites yesterday as a possibility for my copywriting and article business.

Google is expensive, but now that I have had an account for a few years... easy.

FaceBook seems like an alternative, but the delay would be frustrating, for sure.

I like the comment above about trying to create a new campaign.

I am going to watch this thread and see what the outcome is.

Please post when you have a resolution...just curious about why the delay.

Reporting back, FYI--I submitted the ad on Monday, and as of yesterday at 4 pm it was still sitting in the queue. So, while in the end, what I did below does not answer how long it would have taken to get that particular ad approved, these are the steps I took....

Used the same ad and submitted for "people only connected to my page." That got approved in 10 minutes. Once that was done, I submitted the same ad to the wider target in the original ad that was stuck, and that was approved in 10 minutes too. I may be grasping at straws, but maybe doing it that way got it all unstuck from up some algorithm's butt? I dunno, but I do an ulcer from all of this.

Hi, I was also experiencing the same problem. I had a hunch that facebook is trying to heighten their standards when it comes to posting ads.

Did you try contact with them?

Hi mert! I did not try to contact them. Truthfully, my next question here was going to be --how the heck DO you contact them? In all the years I've been advertising on FB, I'be never had the need to, and trying to figure out how to get to them had me flummoxed.

My ads were approved in 30 minutes today. Are you still experiencing problems?
