ANyone using slideshare to promote their blog post? I read, you can convert your blog post into PDF and upload to slideshare.

Is it good practice?

    use latest version of MS office to convert document to PDF, you can write here content, or copy from your blog, you can put links on content keywords for referrals and back link.

      Just i bought one WSO here that how to get 500k unique visitor from slideshare only with just little work ...Using libra office you can quickly convert your blog post in pdf format ...Remember slideshare have million of view per moth and it can drive a lots of traffic alone ...

    I am doing my first slideshare next week. I got inspired after reading this article about 243,000 views in 30 days.

    Slideshare Traffic Case Study: From 0 to 243,000 Views in 30 Days

    I am using her ideas plus another site she mentions which is Slides That Rock:

    Portfolio | SLIDES THAT ROCK

    Many sites take their blog posts, make a pdf and post on slideshare. I am doing more creative presentations that can be used in my blogs and on pinterest like Slides that Rock and Traffic Generation Café did.

    At the very worst, I will have a high quality link to my site. At the best, my humor and creativity will pay off like it did for Ana Hoffman.

    It has taken hours though to find pictures, write the script and do the layout.

        They are pretty liberal in what they will allow. Of course just being there won't really do much if no one views your presentation or shares it with others.

    I would recommend turning your blog post into a PPT with some nice pics that seems to work much better than a plain PDF on slideshare. It will get more views and more shares also top ten lists are popular on there as well.
