How To Find FaceBook Fan Pages?

Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help.

I've come up with a great idea. As you know many people have got fan pages with lots of people that have liked them. 9 times out of ten the fan page owner is not a internet marketer and has no real need for the page.

So I'm going to start offering to pay them to make a post advertising my site.

The problem is I'm not sure what the best way is to find them fan pages. You see I'm not looking for the really big fan pages that have been put together by the likes of Apple and other big names.

I'm just looking for them fan pages that have been built by normal people but have gone viral and got lots of likes.

Any ideas how to find them all? Probably millions of them.

Thanks for your help in advanced.

I guess you'd do something like this:
    https://www.facebook.com/search/resu...86537957098335

What I did is posted the niche in the search box and there was an option to list more results. Then a page came where I could choose the type of results I want.

Now there is a button at the bottom that lists even more results and there should be thousands of pages.

Just keep in mind that if the pages are fairly inactive then it's very likely your post would be seen by only a very very small minority of the fans. Don't think if you see a fanpage with 1 million fans that anything posted would be seen by anywhere near 1 million people.

First of all those people need to be online when you send the post. Otherwise it very quickly drops down their newsfeed and is pushed down by posts from other friends, families or fanpages so they never see it. That rules out a ton of fans right there.

Second of all Facebook seem to work their delivery on how engaged you are with a certain page. That means if you haven't liked or viewed a page or a post on that page in a while then you are less likely to see any future posts from that page as they deem it not as relevant to you.

Also beware that if your link starts getting posted around some fan pages and those fans start reporting it as spam, your link/website could be permanently banned from Facebook such as what has happened with Empower Network. Paying for posts is also against their terms of use so if found out your account could be banned.

Great idea in theory, not so sure about in practice though.

Its worth changing your URL every now and again if that is the case. Not a hard job to do really. Takes 5 min to change a capture page to another URL.

So I want to be looking at the part which shows me how many people are talking about this page? Because FaceBook show you that. I take it the more people that it says are talking about the page the more active it is yes?

      Thanks

Lot's of people on fiverr will post on their fan page for you ( and for $5 of course).

Here's a nice trick I use. Go to google and search facebook pages only by adding " pages site:facebook.com" to the end of your search term. You'll see the first line in each result will start with "xxx likes · xxx talking about this · xxx were here".

(I then use the SEO Quake Firefox addin to download the list to Excel - your list of leads!)

    Sounds like a promising idea.

You may want to further investigate the pages you find for their relative levels of activity and engagement by posting something that would encourage an interaction and then verifying if you get it or not.

Could save you a tone of time by not investing time and resources into a fan-page that has gone stale.
