How to Monetize Pinterest Photos?

So I found some kind of non-product related photos to be repinned quite often by other Pinterest users. These are very non-product related photos. What can be done to drive traffic, monetize etc. for those kind of boards?

    The best thing you can do with that is this basicly:

    - You keep on adding pictures that are being repinned; building more 'followers' of your boards.
    - Then you start pinning clickable CPA pictures BUT
    not just any CPA pictures.

    I don't think I have to tell you the demographics of pinterest; and after a quick glance on Peerfly I found a few CPA offers (zip submits) that would do well with their demographic.

    What you want to do with CPA offers is this: You find a nice picture, and create a video of it in the Youtube video editor (which is accessible from your Upload panel).
    In that video you put a call to action to check out your description; and in the description you put a tinyurl to your affiliate link (the cpa offer).

    - You pin this video on Pinterest.(use the Share url of that video)
    - Profit!

    That's one of the few ways I know how to effectively monetize pinterest traffic. I'm sure there will always be people yelling 'listbuilding' in yo face, but hey. Everyone loves a quick buck right?
