how to make address/phone always visible on Facebook business page?

Hi there!

I see that basic information like address, phone, web site, etc is not shown by default. I need to click on "About" and it will transfer me to a new page.. which is very annoying.

Is there any way to make it always visible somewhere under cover image?

Thank you

  • Mmss,

I’m not 100% sure on this but I think if you don’t have your page configured as a local business, this option is not available. I would be delighted to hear otherwise though.

You need to go to the description put your website URL there and it will appear there.
I am not sure if FaceBook will allow you to put address and phone number [i have never tried it]
but for URL to appear under the cover photo, you can certainly do it by putting your URL in the description.

I found the solution - If I change profile to Local business then the address/phone will be displayed!

but the description doesn't show up in this case (which I also need to be visible)... grrr

It's not a perfect solution, but you could have your contact details show up in the About blurb and then create a sticky post with the description of your business that will always stay on top of every other post you create.

Again, this is not a perfect solution, but rather a workaround that might get things done ;-)

Did you try editing the About section by adding text to the About field with your basic information tab that will already include your contact details? This is what most people do I think so their basic info will be readily visible to anyone visiting their Facebook page. Hope this helps.

It would not be searchable/copyable but you could incorporate your address/phone number into the Cover Photo.
