Facebook Charges to message high profile users and celebrities

It seems now Facebook is monetizing on users who want to contact celebrities as seen on The Independent News Website.

What are your thoughts? Are there any other websites which allow every day, Joe Blow to contact celebrities out there?

    On other words, facebook is now using its millions of users to make money in different ways. It possible that celebrities and high profile are even monetizing there accounts.

    I do not currently have the option to message any celebrities I have found although I have seen it reported in news sources and blogs.
