      If you look at what the "big" YouTubers do, they'll usually participate in affiliate marketing (This episode is sponsored by NetFlix...go to netflix.com/youtuber for a discount (and they get a commission)) and/or they'll sell stuff like Tshirst and Posters.

    Affiliate marketing is one of the most common ways to monetize YouTube traffic. However, you could sell your own products, build an email list, use CPA offers, or do content locking as other strategies to make money. You could also redirect the traffic through adf.ly to make some money. In my opinion, the best way to make money with YouTube is by doing product reviews and promoting popular products as an affiliate.

    Create a 5 tips video, and end the video with

    "To find out more tips like this, please join our newsletter / or grab our free report"

    where you point your URL to a squeeze page, to capture their email and gives them their report.

    You then apply email marketing on these subscribers, but make sure your the content in your free report is valuable !

    Video shows = 5 Ways To Reduce Weight

    and the end of the video     =
    "To find out more mega tips like these to reduce your weight then click on here for more information:
    --> www.YourSite.com/SqueezePage

    Email captured --> Send them an autoresponder series promoting your products or affiliate products.

    Submit this video to many video sharing sites, and submit the RSS feed of your youtube channel to RSS directories.

    Look for a complementary website who could greatly benefit from the audience you have. Then see if you can put together a partnership. This could be in the form of traffic swaps/solo ad swaps, or you could have them finance the creation of a product which both of you share ownership rights to. Your payment would be allowing him to have the first X amount of sales from your own list. This is just an example of what you can negotiate if you can think creatively about partnerships.

    Offering informative and content rich videos on a niche is a much smarter way of enticing potential customers onto your site. Although this is not the direct approach, you can easily win loyal fans. The videos should be very brief, such as three minutes or less and answer a question or problem faced by your typical site user (in the niche you are covering). Tweak your video title and description/tags so it will appear in all relevant Youtube searches for your niche. Of course, you will want to include a back link in the description and at the end of your video to a relevant page on your site (or lead capture page) so that anyone watching who wants to know more can find you. Also, include links to Facebook/Twitter where you can be found.
