What are the Benifits of Facebook/Twitter likes and followers

This might seem like a silly question but what's the benefit of having Facebook likes or twitter followers if they are payed for and not real? Or are they real? I'm not sure I get the point of the social likes and follows, can someone please explain?

If you have 1 million Twitter Followers and Likes on Facebook, and if you have purchased them, they are not going to put any impact/benefit for your business, because they are fake.

If you really want to utilize the power of social media then it must start with a strategy according to your business requirements. If you only have 1000 real Likes & Followers and you're engaging them according to ISH-Rule & your business social strategy then you'll able to sell your products/services.

Paid followers aren't worth having. Or paying for.

Real ones...well, think of them like just another mailing list...only one that you interact with on a more casual level.

Dont waste money paying for friends, they aren't your friends and they don't care about your posts. People rather see 50 likes and lots of interaction instead of 10000 likes and zero contact.

Fake likes and followers are sometimes important if you actually want to engage with people . People nowadays feel special if they are a part of a big famly like a page which has millions of likes.

    Let me state an example.

One of my sites is an ecommerce site where we directly aet up deals with dealers and merchants rather than big companies who manufacture these things.

So we ask dealers if they will actually sell things at 60% off or even 70% off which are not selling and they have a huge stock.

    Many sellers readily agree.

So we have daily deals like get a Adidas shower gel worth $4 for $1.17 etc.

At first we didn't had any social presence and we used to just merely post our offers on facebook. This went on for 1 month and we had 600 facebook likes.

Then we started running sponsored feeds ( Paid around 50 bucks for it and bought around 5000 likes and 10000 twitter followers.

Since that day we have received over 42000 followers in about 45 days.

That was only because of us buying the fb likes and twitter followers.

Once we got these fake likes and followers , more people started to actually like us and share our stories.

So it has worked for me and my clients ( Fake likes and followers).

Getting many likes and followers on FB and Twitter even those that are fake will give the company a good image. It's all about getting a good image. If they have many fans, people will assume that they really have something going on. It's purely for publicity. To attract more people. People will feel more secure and confident if a company is well-known.

I agree, use them to get an image and the feeling that "wow a lot of people like this thing!" But know you're not going to make anything off it right away. You use it to attract REAL people later.

Then you can monetize the real people BUT you can't just post things and expect it to show on your followers feeds with FB, it doesn't. Only a tiny percentage does. You have to PAY to show YOUR followers YOUR posts on your page.

It's ingenius for facebook to do this, but a slap in the Page owners face at the same time.

After getting those likes come the hard parts and the real ways of marketing. You can't earn from those fake likes so you have to get the real people to be interested with you.

actually, if people viewed your Twitter account and they could see that you have many followers, they will get enticed (considering you have good bio, and background or default picture) to follow you. So, buying twitter followers is not that bad at all. It has some advantages and disadvantages.
