Adding a viral element to an LP
This might be in the wrong section, but I'll try.
I'm setting up a pre-launch landing page before my website goes live for business.
And obviously I need to capture as many emails as possible so I need to add some viral elements to it - particularly invite sharing.
Building the LP is fine, but actually implementing the mechanics behind social sharing is quite unfamiliar to me.
If anybody could share some insights to this that would be awesome.
Each new sign-up will be given 10 invites which can be shared to friends. So directly after they signed-up they shall be given the option to invite 10 friends. Or that they must enter 3 friends' emails in order to sign-up. Or both these option in an AB test.
To get this to work what is necessary? Are there plugins in wordpress for this or must it be programmed from scratch?
