You can use the following software:

Yes, VideoDownloadHelper is a good plugin. I prefer FlashGot though, you can download pretty much everything from a web page, and is great for scraping and downloading videos you normally wouldn't be able to

If you want to get Youtube videos to download directly onto your mobile try celltube.mobi from your mobile browser..

You pick the video format for whatever phone you have and just download it to your mobile.. if thats one way you want to go..

If you use Firefox - then I would go with "Download Helper" plugin. It's so simple -Once you start watching a video you will see this multi-colored top start spinning on the title bar - just click it and Download Helper copies the video to your computer. You don't have to even finish watching the video but instead move on to the next one!

I use Replay AV for this type of thing, which saves it in FLV format. You can then convert it to basically any format you want using Replay Converter. They work great together and I've been completely satisfied.

What I am using is the youtube downloader from Sothink, and I am very satisified with the software. There are two editions for the video downloader actually: one is the stand-alone version, which supports many browsers but needs to be paid for the full version, and the other one is the Firefox extension, which only supporrs Firefox but is for free.

The best way I've ever downloaded youtube videos with in firefox with the extension "Download Helper". It's free, and the reason it's the best IMHO is that you can instantly download ANY embedded movie in a page, but it has the option to instantly download AND CONVERT them into nearly any format at the same time. That's why I use it.

Just download new version of realplayer. If you are using mac it downloads any video you are watching automatically without asking you. So if you wanna save it you command it. With windows it's a little different because it will give you a download option. Still works with ease though.

Try the following method, it is definitely the best of all previous ones: download a firefox add-on called Greasemonkey, then install the Youtube HD Ultimate for Greasemonkey. With these two, you will be able to download videos directly in your computer, in any format (flv, mp4, 720p mp4, 1080 p mp4 etc) and choose the resolution in which the video will start: 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p. The setup is really easy, you'll figure it out as you proceed.

I use the youtube downloader, it downloads your video very fast. You just need to open the program, go to youtube and after that the program detects automaticly the url and just click download, and that is it.

You might also try reply media catcher. However remember just because this program allows you to download the videos. Does not mean you can use them as your own videos. Replay media catcher is designed so that you can save youtube videos to your hard drive for your own personal viewing.

If this is what you had intended to download videos for then I say get replay media catcher its free. If you are planing to use the videos as your own then do not download replay media catcher. Besides youtube has a strict no copyright term. If you are caught using copyrighted videos as your own you will be risking your entire google account. Hope you do not rely on adsense for income if that happens.

Suggest you to try Video Converter software. As soon as you open a specific page of video, a download button will appear on the page. Click it, then the video will be downloading list in the software. If the button doesn't pop up, you can also paste the URL address in the program.

there are many ways to download a youtube videos, from programs you can download to pages where you can download the video you like.
-You can use YouTube downloader websites from your computer or using your Android's browser. As of writing, these sites don't work on iOS devices because there's no way to save the video directly to your device. Popular sites include Keepvid, Savido, Clipconverter, Videograbby.
