Infographics....why they are becoming important for a blogger?

Social media has lot to offer and that's the reason new trends are getting more popular to drive-in traffic to a blog. And info-graphics has lot to offer.

But my main question is how can we generate info-graphics for a blog or website?
Is there any tool or software to do that...?

There is no easy way to make an infographic, and most infographics are bad. I think you're better off designing good images that are unique, and then using them to promote your website.

I also like to add few more tools along with Piktochart and Infogr.am which can help you out designing Infographic.
        a) Easel.ly - This will help you to create various charts.
        b) Venngage - helps you to crate infographics, data visualizations and mainly it will help you to track the analytics.
        c) Tableau Public - its almost like Infogram and helps in shaping up data visualizations.

Creating an infographic is 50% a math thing but even for 50% a creative process.

A simple diagram isn't that attractive.

Personaly I prefer to use Fiverr for it.
So many creative heads that love to design them!

Tried creating 1 infograph using Piktochart free software. Worked on it for a couple of hours and would say what I created was less than stellar. So if you want to create a good infograph that draws traffic to your site be prepared to make a significant investment in time to learn how to create quality graphs. However, think the upside of creating good infographs will only help draw traffic to your site. Be sure you have good statistics or information to convey in the infograph.

We had our infographic posted on Marketing Profs: Email Marketing - The Impact of Contests on Email Leads [Infographic] : MarketingProfs Article

Here is what I learnt - they are def. worth it as we have had hundreds of shares compared to other content, that is a lot. Second, services like Visually and others are good but too pricey. I hired a designer from odesk, with whom I did 7 revisions and paid around $300.

You have to make sure that the images are big and you are only trying to convey a few key points. There are too many infographics that are so convoluted that they'll give you a brain seizure. Keep it simple.

Also, add sources and people will find it to be authentic.

    Hope that helps.

    Take care

Do you really need to create infographics for the subjects you are interested in? I have embed in my posts infographics from other sites and linked back to them. I could add that Pinterest can be a relatively easy way to find infographics.

No problem, some infographics sites have their Professional template designed, you just choose one and move icons around and put your text wisely. Then submit it into several High PR Infographics submission sites.

  • Great feedbacks over here. I personally feel it depends on how presentable is the infographic for your blog. I'm not a fan of infographic though
