How Does Digg Work?: what i need to get my story top in Digg? How important is digg to Promote Your Blog post, article and story ?

    Backlink wise, it's not a bad whitehat method to achieve a great backlink. However, you need people to 'Dig it'.

    As for getting it to the top, I talked to a major blackhatter about 1-2 years ago and he said we was able to contact one of the person's that was in charge of putting the story on the front page and he simply paid the guy off. The ROI was incredible (as you could imagine the amount of traffic you'd receive). Not sure if this is the case anymore, but I wouldn't really put much effort into trying to get on the front page.
