3 million member Custom Audience on FB

Hey everyone,

I have about 3m phone numbers that I want to upload into Facebook Custom Audience list. Don't ask me how I got them, but about half of those are actually interested in my product and opted in. about 500k even have emails and some filled out profile info like their age and country as well.

I was wondering how I can get them into FB without any trouble. Is that even possible? Will it raise a bunch of falgs with FB and get me banned. Should I do it in batches, or.... I dont even know where to start.

Anyone have any ideas what the limits for custom audiences are if any? Or how should i go about uploading that much data into fb ad manager...

    I've never uploaded phones, however I did upload user IDs. You can not upload more than 20,000 ids at a time.

    So if you have 500,000 phone numbers, split them then upload.

    Nothing happens to my account when I upload IDs to my custom audiences

    can I make multiple uploads into the same audience or it will have to be a series of audiences of 20k each?

      I have uploaded about 2 million emails for the firm that I work. Havent had any major problems.

      Only thing is, with an audience of this size, i notice that some email addresses seem to get lost. (The reason i say this is because, everytime i upload, i see a different final number).

      I also faced a technical issue of it hanging after sometime and only 700k getting uploaded. Doing it in batches would be the best way I believe. Batches of 400k or so.

      You can add to the same custom audience, there is an option to add to the same custom audience.

      From a perspective of raising flags at FB, I dont think this should happen. It is all supposed to be hashed, so no one at FB is supposed to be able to manually see the people you are targeting.
