What Am I doing Wrong With My Facebook Ads?

G'day Guys.

I need some advice.

I have created a facebook page for the fitness niche, but I am having a hard time getting likes.

I am adding posts 4 times a day to keep people interested and I have tried a variety of payed ads in facebook but can't seem to get the likes.

Please see attached photo of ads I have tried.

    1) Your ads are no good. They have no call to action. You need to tell people to click the like button. Post an image of a fit man as the graphic and make the text say something like "Click like if you want to look like this in 12 weeks!" Thats just a quick example but the point is TELL people to like you. Also make it a like campaign so there is a like button right in the ad.

    2) It seems like your trying to do this with the posts which is cool, but mix it up. Sometimes post a funny pic, sometimes a serous one. Sometimes a link to a cool article. Sometimes a video (how to correctly do an exercise for example)

Your targeting is way too large an audience. You want to speak directly to one group of people on Facebook with your ad, not to everyone. If you want to attract extreme crossfit people, call them out using a crossfit guru name or someone who is famous (which I think is what you were trying to do). You want an audience of thousands - not millions - for your ads. The tighter your targeting the better results you will see on Facebook (and the less money you will spend).

Age matters too --- you won't see a lot of people over 40 who are interested
    in such extreme exercise.

The # in front of the interest is also not as reliable as the interest without it. The # indicates they have shown some interest in the topic, without the # they have stated on their profile they have the interest.

Also, ask them to click "like" in the ad
------------ Click Like If You have taken on Jasmine
------------ Click Like If You know what it takes to get to the next level.

Same goes once you get them to like you. You will get better results if you ask for likes and shares.

Honestly, I think putting "puke" in the name of your page is probably hurting it, particularly if you are trying to attract females.

I'd love to help more, but I would need a clearer definition of your goals and who you are trying to attract. In short, Facebook is a completely different advertising medium and it WILL suck you dry if you try to use it like traditional advertising.

oh one other thing I just thought of ... link to the thing in your sig Your allowed to and it costs nothing so why not? Couldnt hurt. But it brings the 'mentality' always be advertising your page.

By the way: +1 Like from me

Very challenging market to break into, considering how many more established pages there are. ("She squats, bro", etc.) I think you'll need to specialize more.
