What's Wrong With This?

How is it that when affiliate marketers like ourselves tries to post content with an affiliate link in it on Google+ Google or someone gets upset and deletes the post. But when a large company like Expedia post something on their fan page that will link back to their main sales page they will gets thousands of +1s and lots of comments. The sad thing is Google does not say anything. All expedia does is promote their offers and nice pics vacation destinations.

Must be the money that's the only thing I can think of. I am sure Expedia has a huge advertising budget with google. But you did say something interesting. Did you link back to a web page or did you link directly to an affiliate offer? Just curious?

I post good content about my offer first. Expedia has a google+ fan page and all they do is promote sales and everybody post 10000 comments.

Maybe it's because they're promoting their own website and you're promoting affiliate links. Try posting a review on your site and linking to the review on your site instead of using an affiliate link inside G+.

I can't blame them for not wanting their social network to turn into a free-for-all for affiliate spammers. It would soon be useless to everyone if they allowed that. This should come as no surprise, given their distaste for affiliate sites in their regular search results.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.
