Read this article: Would you hand over cash to contact a specific person?

It's a startup that aims to make you money every time you get contacted... unlike Facebook's lame paid per message with Directly.me you actually get paid when you've got someone contacting you - it's quite similar to LinkedIn I guess because you give them your education/working details along with the additional life experiences and skills.. I guess if someone paid me to learn about IM i'd help them out for sure will this concept work?

The site has 2.6m people on it.. iMacros anyone? or wait till it grows more

I do this always when I want to find more about a person.

Here is the way I look at this.

If you are important enough that people would pay to contact you then you wouldn't have time to deal with the contacts. So you wouldn't want to be part of this service.

I see a lot of normal people and D-listers doing this to try and milk some money. There was a similar service that let you pay per min to call a "celeb".

Very true! I was thinking on the lines of celebrities making a lot of money from Directly.me however it has a "life experience" section which even I'm tempted to purchase a few things lol but more for the selling =) $$
