Facebook page likes from personal account

This one is non business and just for fun. I have personal account with my name (kind of) and then created fan page (NFL Draft Rage). At first facebook allowed me to invite friends to like my fan page. Once I got to 100 likes I see that option disappear. Now it appears only way to get those likes is thru ad. Anyone around this as I don't really want to lay money down on non business page.

    If you have legitimate followers( People who choose your style because they want to hear what you have to say, and they want to share something while they are there), eventually your page will grow. Just stay active, and keep on posting those cool things.

    Odd that you are not allowed to invite friends anymore. I have pages with well over 100 likes and I still get prompted to invite friends connected to my personal page.

    At any rate, pingsters has a good suggestion. Stay active and you will grow the page. Aside from having links to the page elsewhere on the web, you can act as the page and interact with other pages. Try and comment on other pages posts (ideally pages that have fans that would like your page) at leas a few times a day. Social media is about being social and when you are out there interacting with other accounts as your fan page, people will see it, click on your profile to learn more and perhaps like your page as well. The more active you are, the faster your page following will grow.

    Make your some of close friends admin of your page and tell them to invite. Its easiest way to get likes. Also update regularly. Daily 3-4 posts will help you.
