why some of my fb ads has 10x reach than the rest ?

Hello! I'm currently running 5 ads as a sponsored story's , and I test between 5 different pictures so i can pick a winner. However one or two of the ads reaches 10x more people rather the rest.

All besides the picture in the ad is the same - bid, content, landing page etc...

How to make so each ad has an average equal reach, so I can surelly confirm which has highest ROI, since most of the ads has very low reach I don't know if they would have more clicks or not if they had reached more people.

Does increasing the bid price will help ?

I'm advertising a webpage away from facebook on the right column space for advertising, not as news feed advertising.

Thank you

Ads are born unequal. Those of your ads with better reach are, quite simply, the better ads. The pictures with the better reach must be better pictures! So try to see what's unique about those pictures. Or, more simply, just use the ads with the better reach.

    Cheers

so fb automatically gives more exposure to the ad that is starting to have more reach ?

If so how can I accurately test between two ads? lets say I create a copy of the winner (high reach ad) and just change the picture, then the initial add has already plenty reach and therefore will has more advantage for other reach while the copied ad is new and only has few reach.

Do I need to deleted the winner ad with the plenty reach and re create it again so when both ads start competing to have 0 reach. That is time consuming.

Assuming your paying in CPC. Facebook gives more exposure to ads that are performing better. Why because ads that perform better are more likely to be clicked thus earning FB a payment. As such they show those ads more.

The ads that are running more have the better picture. I think you have achieved your objective. Do not increase bid price unless you are at or below min bid. Throwing more money will not make FB display your ad more... the ones getting more displays are the better ads as they are connecting with your audience better than the others

Maybe you are using low bids for the others,

Use Face Book automated bidding and most probably all of them will have equal exposure.

does actually the bidding reflects to the exposure ?

previous member said increasing bids will not improve ad reach...
