Is it ok to use this facebook ad trick?

Hello dear Warriors,

I was thinking of this technique in order to boost my CTR in facebook ads and I want to ask you if it's ok to use it.

1. Let's say I have a facebook fan page on a specific industry
2. And let's say that there is a very successful public figure in this industry
3. Target the fans of this popular public figure who is master in my industry...

Can I write an ad and say (click like if you love "name of the successful public figure") ?

Thank you,
Zourkas

That should work 100%, Fb shouldn't cancel the ad. As long as it relates and you make a few post about the person your going to be successful. Let me guess it's something involving music?

I dont see any reason Facebook would not approve that ad. However you need to make sure that the 'public figure' you choose is related to the industry or else you will find yourself getting unliked just as often.

I've done this in the past with success, but you do have to be aware that you can get sued by the public figure for using their public image for advertising. That risk is up to you to take.
