I Have A 2.163% CTR But It's Still Averaging Out To 0.19 Cents Per Like?

This is on FB Ads. What should I do? I'm doing CPM right now, should I change to CPC?

Also, does Optimized CPM go down by itself? I just started the ad today, will it go down tomorrow?

This is an ad that I've just started. I've been testing out CPM and CPC using many variables like countries and interests.

I need to know more of your details to help you better. Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss deeper .

if this is the first time you're using optimized cpm, expect your first budget to dry out fast with less result. so I suggest to get your budget to 3$ and test ads . and manually set-up your optimized cpm don't give a blank check to facebook! see banworks they offer free training about ads and see youtube about fb ads.

From my personal experience, I notice the costs will come down over time when you have ads that are performing.

I don't know the answer to the optimized CPM question that. That's a really good quetion

For better results, go for CPM. It's much cheaper than CPC. On a targetted, optimized for clicks CPM campaign, you pay for more than just clicks. On CPC, you pay per click. I could pay $1.00 for 100 clicks on a CPM campaign and $1.00 for 10 clicks on a CPC campaign. Bid a low daily budget, use questions in your titles, use call-to-action words such as "Click here for more!", and use advanced precise targetting. Yes, your CTR and CPM rates will go down after a while....this is normal. Just change things up every 4-5 days. Do A/B split testing and test out 2-3 different ads. Most importantly, give your ads at least 2-3 days to work before you ask yourself "are the ads working?"

EDIT: I've never tried CPC so I might be overexaggerating. I always prefer CPM because I love paying for more than just clicks and I also like going long-term. As banworks mentioned in his thread, try different ads and always bid low.

I might also be biased because I prefer CPM as well. Their suggestion is really great. That's what most of us do. Try out different ads but remember to bid low. Good luck!
