Which is your favorite social media platform?

Personally, mine is Facebook. I do love some of the other platforms like YouTube, and Pintrest, but from an advertising standpoint you just can't beat the effectiveness of targeting your audience with Facebook.

I'm curious what some other peoples preferred social networking site is. Maybe I can learn something about how to build my business through other social media platforms on top of Facebook.

My favorites now are Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram. Facebook is the largest but you can see that both Pinterest and Instagram are growing.

On a business level - Facebook

On a personal level - I've really grown fond of Twitter over the last year or two. I like its simplicity and conversational features.

Brands need to be present wherever audiences invest their time and attention. Increasingly, that means social media. U.S. audiences spend a half-hour to three hours daily on social media. Social media is one of the largest time buckets on mobile. Brands and businesses that are invisible on social media will miss a chance at engagement that their competitors might seize. More importantly, there are already well-known cases of brands that successfully revitalized their images or launched themselves thanks to social media wins. The benefits to a successful social media brand presence are significant, even if the route to get there isn't clear-cut.
The first step is choosing the right platforms to invest time and resources in. Which platforms to be on is a crucial question, even for the most deep-pocketed brands.
In a new report from BI Intelligence, we review each of the top social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest and Instagram), analyze the considerations and potential benefits for brands working on each platform, and explore what brands and companies would benefit most from focusing their efforts on certain channels.

Hello, I like Facebook for networking, and when I have a question. Facebook was the first platform I started on. My next favorite is LinkedIn, because I am able to connect with colleagues who are most active there, through my business page, and I keep in touch with college friends, and family, through my personal info. Have a nice day.

My favorite social media platform is YouTube. I hate Facebook because they require you to verify your account with a mobile phone number. And I hate Twitter because it's flooded with many fake accounts nowadays and there's not really any interaction.

Facebook here as well just to stalk friends. Twitter for news. YouTube for how-to's and to kill time But it's interesting how no one mentioned LINE, WeChat, or other messaging apps. These apps are encroaching on social and rebranding themselves as "lifestyle" apps (not "messaging" apps).

Are messaging apps the biggest threat to Facebook?

I would need to say Facebook besides. It is the only station where I could just have fun with our fans and network with other small businesses. 2nd favorite is Pinterest. I love partaking our products, but also integrate other reasonably photos into it as well as inspirational quotes and people. I have to allow, Twitter has me confused as to how to utilize it for the business. I am comparatively new to both Pinterest and Twitter. Our Facebook page is growing, which is great.

    Twitter and Instagram for me

What allot of people fail to do is make a brand around themselves, people LOVE seeing lavish items,

More for the experienced offliner for instance,

I post pictures of what offline consulting has allowed me to do, a chauffeur in london etc view from my office, few cars etc

from this i've had allot of people take me up on my coaching offers, my web design deals even just want to have dinner with me to network etc... Its fantastic, don't always go the direct route of "BUY MY WEBSITES £200 !" etc its sometimes better to build a brand around yourself so no matter what you launch you can have active people interested

It sounds like Google loves their own products mostly. So, if we use Google +, there may have more advantages: One is the high ranking in Google searches; Two is the same advantages that facebook can give you.

I liked quite few but have had issues with a lot of them personally I use Facebook more than any others twitter and you tube tend to be trigger happy with suspending accounts. Though I haven't had any problems with that for a couple of years but the new Facebook Algorithm sucks unless you are paying or very active.. And have a huge following.. So my answer would be probably FB for now and the new ENV2 when it launches in another 3 weeks :-)

I find that Twitter works the best for us--you get to reach out to specific people who aren't immediately in your social circle, and the ROI in terms of reach and virality is higher than Facebook.

Personally, I like Tumblr better--less irrelevant noise, much more flexibility and customization with the content I see.

I feel worth investing my time in Linkedin with almost 2000 connection. I enjoy building new networks, connecting to different groups and mostly connecting to professionals around the world.
My second favorite social media is Facebook as its fun working their. Youtube is also excellent but I need enough time to make videos, working on YouTube to learn more. I also keep watch Twitter for latest updates, information and connecting to public venue.
