Without a question it would be Facebook, the number of eyeballs on Facebook daily puts it far and away the top, especially if you are looking for free traffic, all you need to do is engage enough people.

According to your Thread title I would say Email marketing is the best direct marketing method to reach your targeted customers/audience. From the social media perspective obviously Facebook is the best platform to proceed on.

I would say go for Facebook. This could be done in different ways to engage people. Put in some content that will interest the people so that they can like your page. You can also place an advert there at a fee to get more likes.

Any big social network website should get your good traffic if you know how to do it. Make sure to search first next time. Anyway, it depends on what you are targeting for. Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, and etc.

It all works. The point is just if you do it every day. Because it is just about the masses. I have a client who orders 1,000 forum posts from me per month - he says it doesn't matter because it pays back with huge profit :-)

This is individual and for someone Facebook is best social network for generating traffic and for someone is maybe twitter. All depends of the person what likes more and what methods like to use.
