Starting FB pages the right way?

Being pretty much new to doing FB pages marketing, i have a couple questions to ask you expert guys.

- Is it important to choose popular themes that you also like when creating pages? (if i have to post things daily, might aswell actually enjoy, no?) Or do you focus on profitability that's all?
- Is there an ideal or max price for product price promoted to your audience: cpa offers which are free for users, or products(amazon example) under 20$?
-Do you start the process with products or offers you're gonna be promoting when the page has good amount of likes or do you grow the page in typical niches then find offers thay could work for it?

I'll appreciate all the replies i get

    1) You should choose a topic that is going to be appealing to people but that is also going to be able to be monetized. An example of a bad topic for a page: "Cute and Funny kittens" .. you will get lots of fans quick, but what are you going to sell them .. discount cat food?

    2) The products you promote are going to depend on your chosen niche. Generally though what you want to do is use the fan page to build an Email list (at least thats what has worked for me) .. you get them on your list then you can send them relevant offers on a regular schedule instead of having to have only a small % of your fans see your posts (unless you boost the post that is, which costs $)

    3) First thing first, you need to build the page up, dont just start spamming it with offers. Post valuable and shareable content. You can start getting them to opt in right away though.
