Can I upload a list of email addrs to facebook and easily select just existing FB users?
I created a FB page. Then I went to the place where you can import contacts.
I made a list of 4999 emails of the 20K that I have so I'd be within their limits. It cranked away and then showed me the list with the names of people for a bunch of the emails.
I figured, OK, these people are already on FB. So, if I'm limited in my invites by email, I'd rather invite people who are already there than people who are not. I tried clicking on each box, but that was gonna take forever and I couldn't seem to mass select and checkbox.
So, I cancelled the import and figured that if I was gonna do it, I'd try it with my entire 20K list and only import the people that were already on FB, to a maximum of 5K. I then went to do that. I uploaded the file, and without even having it display the names to check off that I wanted to import, it said I Temporarily blocked for 3 days for going too fast!
So three questions:
1. Anyway to get around the wait?
2. Any other way to invite people to the page via their email address and select ONLY people already on FB?
3. Can I invite more than 5000 by email if I do it in separate uploads?
Looks like the penalty for even trying to experiment on FB is "NO FACEBOOK FOR YOU!"
