Anyone had success using Facebook ads to sell ClickBank products?

I'm considering if I should make a Facebook ad that links to a Clickbank product. If it works, the potential is big! I have heard a few people say that you get 0 conversion from click to purchase of the product, so that scares me.

Should I try it out and invest a few dollars for a few days on a couple ads & try this?

Has anyone tried this strategy and made money with it?
If you have tried this out at all, even if you failed, please tell me about it! I'd really like to know other people's experiences before I get into it.

    First of all You need cloak ads to promote clickbank offers .
    I tried few days ago ....I got 8k hoops from facebook ads , and only 1 sell .

      What category was your offer in? Was it weight loss, games, software, etc...

          I think CPA offers would be the best for this, because most people on Facebook aren't in the mood to buy. If you send them to an email opt-in form, they are probably more likely to buy. It might be risky as well, because you have to hope that you get a good conversion from click to sale. Let's say it goes like this...
          You get paid $1.50 for every email sign-up
          You are paying $0.40 per click
          Profit margin is $1.10
          More that 1/3 or 30% of your clicks must sign up, or you're losing money
          I think this would only be worth it if the conversion is at least 60%

          So, if anyone has any experience with CPA offers for email opt-ins, please post here and say how much is the average conversion on an email opt-in?
          Is it common to be more than 60% conversion?

    I think it would be better if you got them to go to a page that promoted a range of affiliate products. Obviously the page would also have to offer entertaining content and/or value but it can help make more than one sale per person if they like the page. It can't hurt to try, but I can't see it converting too well.

    I use Facebook ads a lot to help with affiliate marketing. Although I wouldn't recommend linking directly to the product. It's best to build a simple website around 5 or 6 affiliate products in the same sub niche. Let the traffic go back to those sites and purchase the product(s) from there.

    I've used facebook advertising before to a landing page offering a clickbank product. 4,000 views and no sales. I would say it was a waste of time.

      One month ago I created a fan page for a huge niche with an ad for a ClickBank offer.
      The ad is very targeted to that niche audience and it has a link to my landing page.
      Through that ad and in the first few days I got 35 leads that opted in (through 350 clicks $0.10 each) and made 7 sales with only 50 Likes and a low amount of engagement.
      But suddenly since then I went to zero new sales.
      I have a lot of valuable posts in the page (no links, just content) with hundreds of views in each post.
      Recently I also made a new post with a cloaked link to a new offer related to the targeted audience and my main offer.
      ***Note: When I inserted the link (cloaked) straight to the Vendor's sales page, FB detected it immediately on the spot after I posted that offer and sent a warning pop-up message "That link is an affilate link. Remove it NOW".***
      I did so and created a landing page. I only got 10 optins to that new offer so far.
      The page now climbed to around 200 likes and 85 optins to the main offer with an engagement of 950 people, but I'm still with no new sales.
      I really don't understand what's happening with the sales or what should I do to obtain new conversions.

    I'm also selling products through FB ads. It's easy policy but mostly workable.

    Hi TemperThompson,

    We once did some promotions on Facebook on two niches. One was a weight loss niche, the other was on a dance workshop niche. All of these affiliate links where cloaked and we used redirects as a strategy.

    However, the weight loss niche was instantly detected by Facebook and everytime we posted the link, FB wouldn't allow it. Too bad since the product was a high gravity product on CB and we already started some ad campaigns going to the redirect affiliate page.

    As for the dance niche, it is still working but the conversion was low. We posted funny and good memes about dancing but once the affiliate links were shared, these have minimal amount of likes compared to vids and pics. Lesson learned: people on FB don't like cold selling posts so might as well think of something subtle to promote your product.
