Twitter Privacy Question

Hey Warriors,

I was wondering if anyone could answer this quick question for me. I am following someone that does not follow me back, and I also have a private Twitter account. I was wondering if when I "Favorite" one of their tweets, do they see that I favorited it?

I am asking this because I have noticed some tweets on other peoples profiles will say 2 favorites, but I will only see the the profile that is not protected, so only 1 of the 2 users will be displayed under the tweet itself. So I am wondering if the person is even aware that I favorited their tweet or not because my profile is protected.

Thanks for any help guys! Also I know this may be a bit confusing so I will try my hardest to explain if you do not understand what I am saying.

    They would be notified that you favorited their tweet. If they have a large majority of other followers doing the same thing however, they may not notice as much.

    If your profile is private though, I don't think they will see it at all unless they are following you.

    Do you mind me asking why you have your account set to private?
