Building Links to Social Accounts / Posts

I build links to social accounts, positive posts, and negative posts for reputation management. However, I'm not sure how effective this strategy is beyond rep management.

Previously, all Google+ links were dofollow but this was changed as soon as SEOs started abusing the concept.

DAE build links to pinterest profiles/boards/pins? Google+ posts? FB posts?

Don't bother building links to social posts. If what you are posting is good content then links /social signals will come to you. Your best bet is to be syndicating your content across multiple social platforms. So for instance: You share content on your blog -> share it from your blog to twitter, fb and g+, which will give you a social signal in the process.

And if you don't have a blog (or one that's updated regularly), HootSuite is pretty awesome for instant syndication as well.
