Can you have YouTube videos on content sites?

Can you embed YouTube videos into content sites? I once read that if it's on YouTube, then you can embed it. Is that true? What is the legal status of YouTube videos on content sites? Is anything YouTube alright to add to your site?

Under each YouTube video you can select 'Share' then 'Embed'. I can't see any problem embedding YouTube videos if they are giving you a way to do it. Feel free to embed any of my videos 8-)

Yeah you can embed YouTube videos inside your own content if they have the embed function enabled.

People who do not want people to embed their videos elsewhere have the option of disabling the embed function.

However, I would be careful as to not embed the content in such a way that it might appear that the person in the video is somehow giving an endorsement of the products/services you might be promoting in the content surrounding the embedded version of the video.

Well I have every single YouTube video on my channel embedded on my blog.

If a video uploader doesn't want you to be able to embed it on your site they can disable it.

So basically if the option to embed it is there, you can do it no problem

I actually load mine through LeadPlayer with an opt in form and CTA affiliate link.

if you embed code in your content page and give credit to the original video holder then definitely you can use video as content by embeding

If embedding is enabled, you're good to go. No need to worry about anything legal unless you're claiming to be a company/product/service. In fact, for a variety of projects I've used other's YouTube videos as media reference. If it adds for value to your user, do it. If you want to be a pal, reference the video channel you sourced it from. Win/win! =)

    Best of luck,

    BP

Hey, YouTube always helps to earn more traffic and SERPS. Hence there is no question of doubt whether to embed the video or not. You should do it.
