There is a guy on fiver selling facebook uids and facebook emails.
Go over there and buy a bunch of targeted facebook emails ! Its a legit because its facebook api they allow it!

Then you upload up to 5000 facebook emails that you can invite to like your page!
I have been doing this a created a page 2 weeks ago and now have over 200 likes for 100%free and all targeted !
You are allowed to upload 5000 every 48 hours do not go over I do not even get close I do 4600 at a time otherwise you will get a temperately suspension for 1 day and will not be which just means that you can not upload anymore contacts for 1 day..

Instead of making fanpage, which only 20% of your fans will see your posts. Create a list, ie, collect emails and stay in touch with them.

Facebook likes can be quite pointless, at times.

1st Method, Free: You should go in a "like" other pages in your niche. Then get involved with the comments on each of top posts with them and "like" them too. Interaction....

2nd Method, Paid: Use Facebook ads, depending on your niche, it can be very cheap to get likes to your page. I have regularly been getting $0.01 likes for some time now....

1) Do a detail email address research of the target audience on web within your niche and build a contact list.

2) Add them in all in your email account as contacts (where your Facebook is linked).

3) Go to : https://www.facebook.com/friends/requests/

4) Upload all of your contacts

5) Upload your contacts to other social networking sites like Likedin, Google+, Twitter etc to connect with them there too.

6) Once you have added them to your Facebook contact list, Invite them to your Facebook fan page.

I agree with most of the other people in this thread. Posting good content consistently helps with engagement. Other methods include advertising on Facebook - Don't waste money on fake likes from Fiverr, when in most cases you can run a Facebook ad to get real fans probably for even cheaper, depending on your niche.

I agree too with the poss here.
I has some success with following. It doesn't grow it huge but gives a nice steady increase with some nice jumps along the way:
If you have a blog you can do a resource (best of) post linking to other blogs. Then contact the owners letting them know you've included them in the post and ask them nicely to share with their followers and like on your blog on facebook.
Also, if you allow guest posts on your blog and you can get a more popular blogger to do a post with a reasonable facebook following. You publish the post and then politely ask them to like you and promote the post to their followers.

Can you explain how to do #1? I've looked for lists/addresses but haven't ran across much, especially not targeted audiences.

Basically do paid ads to generate likes, target your perfect demo, geo, KW, and grow grow grow. If you try to do it organically you will get bored, see slow results and give up...chances are...

Alright, my first REAL contribution to the Warrior Forum!

This page: Like4Like.org - Get 100% FREE Likes, Subscribers, Followers and Views

You like others' pages and earn coins. You set up your page and the coins get taken away from you in return for a like from a REAL person. I guess there's always a chance it's a bot or a fake page but it's much more slim than buying likes.

Only catch is it takes some time. Click, open the window, like, close window. But if you have some downtime and don't have the money this seems to be an excellent way to get some extra likes.

Getting random likes by buying them for example, will not do much good. Spamming people will definitely not work. The best way is to learn how to advertise with Facebook and have your campaign planned out ahead of time.

There are 2 effective methods.

1) Viral lock information - visitors are granted access once they like or share your fanpage.

I don't think it's necessarily about how large your audience is, but yet a truly targeted audience that is interested in the posts/things you are doing. Organic likes will be the ones who are engaging in your posts daily. By using promotions, contests, rewards, etc is another way to help engage your people. Hope this helps! ;-)

Upload your mailing list into Power Editor (a chrome extension to manage Facebook ads) and you can target ads only on Facebook accounts using the emails in your list. So you basically convert your subscribers into fans and because they already know your brand, they are more likely to like your page so you will get a higher conversion rate on your ads

On nowdays i believe that it´s better to do some Facebook Advertising , you can laser target your audience (to your niche for example). On the past it was very expensive, but nowdays it´s not that expensive and if what you have to sell have real value it worths very much. because each like will be engaged to your offer, of course some may not have money to buy it, but in the end its much better then fakes, that can be removed and in the worst case scenario you can have your page banned.

Well i did a campaign like this to my wife fanpage of handmade dolls , she started the campaign with about 500-600 likes and in 2 weeks got about 1600 Likes, in terms of costs , when the campaign started each like costed $.09 and in the end the average cost for each like was $.04.

The audience it´s responsive so i believe the money worh it.

Another good way of grabbing a great audeince will be contests, for example you have one nice marketing message to be shared amongst all your audience to their fan page and in the end you will pick one of your fans to receive a nice Prize. This normally works very well.

I have noticed one of these contests that had the duration of one week and had a result of 1600 post shares. The cost was a low-mid cost watch.

Also there are some other factors like; page design, profile and cover images and etc.

This is definitely the way to go!

But just to add to this, you may want to also collect email addresses as well to market to them this way as well. You don't want to just rely on Facebook.

I've started a few contests/giveaways on my site and have gained thousands of likes and emails collected.

I'm running a giveaway right now that you can check out in my sig.

What you'll need is an autoresponder. I use Mailchimp. This is how you get the emails.

You will also need a giveaway solution such as Punchtab to help run your giveaway. This is how you get the Facebook likes and Twitter follows.

The way I have it set up is that they subscribe and confirm email address. Once email address is confirmed, I have autoresponder send out an email thanking them for entering giveaway and to remind them that are to be receiving my newsletter as part of them signing up. I also invite them to like my page just in case they haven't done so yet through my Punchtab widget.

And the best part of all this is that Mailchimp and Punchtab are free...well Mailchimp isn't free for me anymore since I have over 6,000 subscribers with a 25% email open rate. :-)

I'm actually about to start pruning my list to get rid of some of the ones who have never opened an email so that my open rate increases.

I also use another plugin that you can see through my sig that locks the page until they give me their email address to enter the contest and ever since I started using this plugin, my email quailty has gone through the roof since everyone is verifying their email address. Before I would gather emails just through punchtab and then import them into MailChimp but I got tired of doing all that extra work and went with this plugin instead.

Hi Michaela,

I'm not sure if you already have a Facebook page and created a new one or not. Either way, one thing I did was create a post announcing that I started a new fanpage. Then, I right clicked on the time stamp to that post - and went to all the groups I was in and posted on the timeline of each group.

Another thing you can do, if you don't mind spending a little bit of money - boosting your post or starting an inexpensive ad promoting your page using that post. Try to use viral content - like a video that has already received a couple of million view that is not copyrighted - to attract eyeballs.

When you create a new page you need some initial likes to build some credibility, first you can invite your friends to like your page, then secondly you can log in as your page and start interactions with people on similar pages which can draw them to your page, when you have good amount of likes then you should go for page promotion or a post promotion option. I have been researching this question for a long time and I come to conclusion:
1. Just write quality and interesting content that will really interest people;
2. Make some offers, contests, votes;
3. Share images, photos and other multimedia;
4. Invite people to join your page via your friend, relatives, colleagues and other people.

I got to 100,000+ Likes on many pages by Frequent Updates + Share 4 Share trades with other pages in my niches.

It takes time and effort, but it's worth it (you can also pay someone to do the sharing trades for you).

Attaching strong, powerful images will get you more likes for your post vs posting a simple status update. And the more likes you get, especially right when it is sent out, the more exposed it will be to your community and their friends. That is how Facebook's algorithm works.

Interact with your fans. Ask them questions, request opinions, and give them incentives to invite their friends to your page through contest campaigns by using apps like shortstack

you can create a group for facebook like and post your page over their and you will get lots of like of your facebook page...or can say to your friends to like your page......
