How can I use Pinterest to market my site?

If your site has many pictures you can PIN those pictures.
I think PIN will bring more traffic.
But you should PIN some beautiful photos.

hey tanya,

optimize your every pin to your website ..

for example you have any pin lets say how to make sweet cake ?

than it will have image ..

now put hyperlink of that image to your main website

apart of that in description also put your website url ..

so user engagement will increase and you will get more traffic and more people on your website

and of course some PInterest users will get pissed because they weren't able to find the resource they were originally looking for. And depending on the "relevance" of content on your site in comparison to the image you hijacked some user may even report your site as spam.

Yes it is true that you can create image for new pin create and give it and hyper link to it and some description of posted URL. Get more traffic by this sites.

are you assuming the majority of those using Pinterest from this site are also in the make money online (mmo) niche?

From what I've seen many are affiliate marketers, recipe site owners and/or e-commerce shop owners.

PS: from looking at the link in your sig you may want to focus on the Make Money Blogging niche within Pinterest. You can do a search on that phrase and see several examples. For instance this pin has been repinned and liked quite a bit

Your pins should definitely be related to your offer and must be really beautiful (attractive enough to other pinners to repin or like them). If pinners don't like your pins, I doubt if they click them to see your site. If you pin photos not related to your offer, pinners might feel a bit cheated - they can report you as well. Start your campaign with group boards related to your pins and offer.

Why not screen shot the customer reviews of your product and make a meme or infographic and pin on Pinterest.

One way is to make a board of Infographics, i have also seen couple of group boards in this respect which give you some boost,
There is another way in which you setup a board consisting of Quotes Related to MMO niche, maybe quotes from Famous people or successful people, because quotes get extra-ordinary promotion so this can help you a lot

From my experience, people on Pinterest (for the most part) aren't looking to make money online. They're "regular" people with interests in cooking/recipes, fashion, makeup, stuff for kids, etc. So in my opinion, the make money online niche doesn't go over very well on Pinterest.
