Facebook partner categories (big potential)

Anyone using facebook partner categories? Just learn about them, didn't know that they even existed (shame of me) and I see you can target directly buyers...overlay interests and come up with pretty pretty targeted buyers.

Thing is it doesn't display for me, Ive tried with power editor and zich . Is that because I am based in Europe? Heard about that is only available in US. I will be very interested to hear your opinion about that guys.

    So far I have had some of the worst results I have ever had using partner categories across the board. The ad costs are way higher than most of the Facebook internal targeting options and the respond tends to be disappointing. This has held regardless of the page type across many categories.

    Feel free to give them a try but do not be surprised if the results are not what is ideal!

      That's very discouraging. I'm always looking for a new way to use Facebook. Hopefully, they will improve targeting of these types of ads for anyone interested.

        It seems to be a combination of bad data collection in the partner categories, too many Facebook advertisers with big budgets targeting them, and low click rates from users that often do not click on Facebook ads. All of this combined means partner lists often run for damn near what a TV commercial costs with much less in the way of results.

        What I have had success with is targeting competitor pages. Often the audience can be much cheaper than the broad category (i.e. targeting exact fashion pages instead of the #fashion category). However, the Facebook targeting tool that allows you to select exact pages is currently far from ideal in that you actually cannot target the majority of pages on Facebook.
